Ask, Seek and Knock!

Matthew 7:7-8(KJV)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Today’s verse encourages us to continually ask, knock and seek. God is true to His promises. When one ask for what they need and seeks His Kingdom, He always provide. He said whatever we ask for, He will give us. He opens the door when His children obey His commandments and pray. Based on His Principle in this Scripture, we could do nothing without God, and that God would do nothing without prayer. Matthew 6:8 tells us that God knows our needs before we ask. However, we should never assume that because God knows all things, He should know what you want. Assumption bring frustration, so ask. The point here is to cultivate a relationship with God through prayer. His Word says in Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
Prayer is a Christian’s vital breath. A relationship with God is impossible without prayer. Asking through prayer is such a potent weapon that can do and undo things in people’s lives. When we truly desire God and long to see the Kingdom of God realized in our lives and in the lives of others, when we are passionate to see His will and His work in this world, and we ask for the things that bring Him glory and increase our closeness to Him. He is eager and willing to give us anything we ask for. From asking, we move into exploration which leads us into discoveries and eventually to recovery of ourselves and hidden treasures around us. It is wonderful for us to pray to God to meet our needs. Right now we may be facing a situation that looks utterly hopeless, but God has a key that will unlock any situation. He has the keys that open the doors for us spiritually and physically, financially and emotionally. No matter how hard the devil tries to trap us, if we will get hold of the right key, we can find our way out. There’s no situation so dark and so cleverly designed by the forces of darkness that there is not a Kingdom Key that will unlock it with Kingdom Power. The problem is that most people give up just before they get their miracle. They stop when things get hard or when they don’t get the answer they want the first time. That doesn’t mean that we seek Him one time and then stop. It is written in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” We seek Him until we have the promise! Answers are provoked through asking, knocking and seeking.
Beloved, keep asking, seeking and knocking until our situation changes. Today, submit your prayers to the Lord and keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Whatever you are desiring from God ask in faith and it’ll come to pass in your life. Ask according to His Will because asking contrary to the Will of God is nothing but lusting after ungodliness. There is an answer to your situation. Keep digging until you find the key. Keep knocking on the door, until it opens. Seek the face of the Lord continually and let this be your daily pursuit. In doing this, you are engaging in the most important activity that will transform your life. Know that God is working behind the scenes, He is perfecting whatever concerns you. Don’t give up! Instead, start thanking Him for His faithfulness in your life. Thank Him for He rewards those who diligently seek after Him! God will accomplish His Will concerning whatever situation you are currently facing in Jesus’ Name.
O Lord, give me strength to stand and seek You until I see Your promises fulfilled in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.
