Exodus 15:11(KJV)
Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Our God is not only a wonder, He also works wonders! After God had supernaturally delivered the Israelites from the evil grasp of Pharaoh and his army by opening up the Red Sea for them to pass through on dry land, while the wall of water closed in on their enemies and drowned them all, Moses and the children of Israel sang a new song to the All-Powerful God. Moses and the Israelites alluded to the Greatness of God and vowed He Alone will be their God, to whom Alone they will give praise. God is truly Awesome and a Wonder we cannot comprehend. It is written in Psalm 89:5-7 “And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.”
It is confirmed praise is one of the vital weapons for taking delivery of God’s Awesome Acts. Praise is the most effective spiritual weapon that brings God on the stage to clear off the barriers that would stop us from taking delivery of what belongs to us. Praise is the platform for the Fearful and Wonderful Acts of God. Every great victory in battle and triumphant success over the enemy in difficult situations requires the intervention of the Almighty God. This reality makes it mandatory for Christians to worship and sing praises to God wherever we experience triumphant victory. When we engage in praise, God becomes our dangerous defense. There are some battles that require the release of the power of praise and worship to be won because our God is fearful in praise. We may be trusting God for guidance, wisdom, fresh anointing, marital breakthrough, a job, promotion, financial breakthrough, healing or a child, secure His Presence and then He will level out every barricade against the delivery of our desires. Therefore, let our praise to God increase in us as a fountain and we will find Him in action. For it is written in Psalm 22:3 “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” When we praise God, He inhabits the praise and then takes over our battles. When He takes over our battles, His fearful acts are made manifest, His Name is Glorified and we have sweat-less triumph. When we give God hosanna praise, we move His Hands to do more and makes available to us wild level of results.
Beloved, one sure way to hear from God in times of difficulty is to praise Him. So, cultivate an attitude of praising God always; praise Him irrespective of the events happening around, whether the promises of God have been fulfilled or not, whether your expectation has arrived or not. Praise Him from where you are right now and see how Heaven will respond to you with fearful acts of His Blessings. The Lord will put a song of triumph in your mouth today, no matter what you are passing through, no matter how hopeless your situation seems, irrespective of your weakness and limitations, you will overcome and sing songs of triumph in the Mighty Name of Jesus. In this season, the God of wonders shall show up in your situation and turn things around as you give Him praise in Jesus’ Name.
O Lord, thank You for Your Word, as I praise You, perform an outstanding miracle in my life in Jesus’ Name.
