Great Provider

Philippians 4:19(KJV)
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
It is clear from Scriptures that there are promises of supernatural abundance from God to His children. It is the Plan of God for His children to be established spiritually, financially, materially and in every other wise. Divine Provision is in play when you know that what you have is not by your strength, power or ability. When you live in His obedience, He fully supplies your need.
It is amazing that in spite of the joyful declaration of faith in today’s anchored verse, some children of God still look up to financiers, godfather and other human providers to meet their needs. Psalm 37:25-26 says “I once was young, now I’m a graybeard—not once have I seen an abandoned believer, or his kids out roaming the streets. Every day he’s out giving and lending, his children making him proud.” As long as you remain a true servant of God and look up to God, you will never go begging for what to eat. The Great Shepherd will lead you to green pastures. The entire world may look bleak and in the midst of lack, however, God will cause you to be exempted! He will turn around every lack in your life to abundance in Jesus’ Name. You will have more than enough!
It is important to know what was said in the preceding verses that gives the condition for attracting Divine Supplies (Philippians 4:15-18). So, you cannot just pray and ask God for money if you don’t do the things He asks you to do in His Word. The woman of Zarephath was an amazing widow of great faith. Even in the most dire of circumstances, she put her faith in God above the cruelties of her situation. As she baked her last meal for Elijah to eat, her last meal became her first of many. Absolute poverty gave room to absolute prosperity, she flourished in the midst of famine, while others were starving. In famine, you shall laugh! This means that when there is hardship in the world, you will be laughing because you will never be a victim.
Beloved, don’t settle for the meager existence the world says you can have. When the world is complaining of lack and difficulty, you will be celebrating the goodness of God. Today, search the scriptures on supernatural supplies and meditate on them until they are fulfilled in your life. Make up your mind to walk in the realm of faith by adjusting your walk with the Word of God. Lay hold of what the Word says you can have and look not to the things which are seen. Remember, it takes the Word of the Lord to experience the supernatural. No matter how bad your bank book looks, the Word will always say, “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
O LORD, cause Your Divine Provision to come upon me and meet me at the point of my need in Jesus’ Name.
