In His Presence.

Exodus 33:14-15(KJV)
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
In our anchored Scripture, Moses insisted on the Presence of God going with them as they journeyed through the wilderness to the Promised Land. Moses knew the importance of the Presence of God and understood that Divine Presence makes all the difference for those who are led by God. He was determined not to go forward without the Presence of the Lord! Moses realized that the Promised Land meant absolutely nothing without God’s Presence.
There is no greater asset in a believer’s life than God’s Presence. His Presence gives us all-round rest, makes us undefeatable and is the secret of strength for His people. Access to His Presence will keep adding color to your destiny. As you dwell in His Presence, He takes extra step to dispatch angels to protect you. You are your best when you live in God’s Presence. In Psalm 16:11, the Psalmist reveals that in the Presence of the Lord we can find the fullness of joy. It is wise therefore to be in God’s Presence always to guarantee your joy and everlasting satisfaction. Nothing suppresses depression like God’s Presence. When God leads, He grants supernatural breakthroughs to the led. While Elijah was in God’s Presence, he enjoyed divinely prepared meals. He became so strong that he overpowered the 450 prophets of baal on Mount Carmel. The signs of God’s Presence in the household of Obed-Edom were apparent. In just three months, God blessed the house of Obed-Edom who accepted the Ark that represents God’s Presence.
Many don’t value the Presence of God, and so they don’t bother to ensure that they are in His Presence. The big danger is when we ignore the Presence of God in our lives. In fact, we can have the most talented people, abundant resources, cutting edge strategy and even be doing all the right things, but without God’s Presence it just won’t matter. When a man lacks God’s Presence, he lacks everything in life.
Beloved, to succeed and have breakthroughs this year and beyond, you need God’s Presence in your life. I therefore encourage you to give your life totally to God through Jesus Christ and live for Him. For His Presence to envelope your life, you need to walk daily with Him by fellowshipping with Him in the place of prayer and worship. Psalm 100:2 says “Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” If you are faithful in doing this, He will abide with you, and you will live in safety throughout this year and beyond. Today, adopt a Moses-like attitude and let God know you will go nowhere that He doesn’t lead, that you want His Presence to be with you everywhere you go, in everything you do, at all times. If you want to triumph the challenges of life without sweat, ingest His Presence.
O LORD, let Your Presence follow me all the days of my life as you give me an all round rest in Jesus’ Name.
