The Counsel of the Lord Shall Stand

Our anchor Scripture confirms that despite the satanic imaginations, demonic orchestrations, evil intents or devices of men, it is the counsel of the Lord that shall stand. It does not matter the kind of confrontations, challenges, economic or corona virus situation in the land, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand. We are all born for a purpose, we are not here by accident, but to fulfil a God-given destiny. The devil and his agents may have plans for us but the plan or counsel of God is superior to any plan, purpose or counsel. God’s Word, Plan, or Counsel for our lives will never fail, but our unbelief is what prevents its fulfillment on our lives. If God says He will give us something, hold Him by that promise until He fulfills it for He will frustrate the counsel of the heathen and makes their devices to be of non-effect (Psalm 33:10).

The truth is, what God said about you is heavier than what any man, woman, witch or wizard has said. The Word of God is more potent than any weapon of war, be it physical or spiritual. The Bible says in Isaiah 46:10 “Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure”. It does not matter what anybody will do or say, if God says yes, no one can say no. No one can defeat God’s counsel; His plans and purposes cannot be altered by any outside force. It is only what God has ordained that shall stand. It does not matter the wishes of people or what the devil has calculated against our lives or our loved ones, it is only what God has purposed and designed concerning us that shall stand. It is written in Isaiah 8:9-10 “Do your worst, O Syria and Israel,[a] our enemies,* but you will not succeed—you will be shattered. Listen to me, all you enemies of ours: Prepare for war against us—and perish! Yes! Perish! Call your councils of war, develop your strategies, prepare your plans of attacking us, and perish! For God is with us.” Whatever opposition we face today for the Lord’s sake, we can know that the enemies of the Cross will ultimately lose, just as Assyria’s invasion of Judah was ultimately turned away. I pray that the desire of the wicked concerning us shall perish and every counsel of the wicked for our lives shall be frustrated in the Name of Jesus.

Beloved, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand in your life and that of your loved ones. God has the final say and not any man, woman, or the agents of the devil. Only accept and believe what He says about you. It does not matter the negative things that are being said about you, as long as God was not the One who said them, everything is under control. It does not matter what they have planned against you, if God did not plan or say them then, refuse to believe it, for you have no problem. For example, some people might have said that you will be blind at 40, seen you sitting in wheelchair, can never get married in life, have children, get healed, travel anywhere in life, or succeed in life. It is only confirmed if you believe the negative opinions, if not, it will never come to pass. Just believe what God has said and is saying about your life and not what comes out of agents of the devil. You will succeed and excel contrary to any negative pronouncement or plan over your life in the Name of Jesus! My counsel is, discard people’s negative opinions or plans about your life and believe only what God says about you in His Word. Do not allow yourself to be swayed, distracted or discouraged by people’s negative opinions, plans, imaginations, conspiracies, schemes, or orchestrations about you. Be encouraged that our God and Father has a plan for your life that will not be thwarted by anything or anybody. You can rest in His faithfulness to bring about His purpose for your life simply because He loves you and He is always with you. Today, locate the counsel of the Lord concerning your life by studying the Word of God.
