One Day!

2 Corinthians 5:10(KJV)
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Our anchor Scripture makes it very clear that everyone will stand before God one day to give account of his life and work on earth. At the end of our journey on earth we will be required to give account of our activities here on earth by our Creator and it is an inescapable judgement. There will be no begging or excuses then it will be judgment without mercy. As Christians, we must grow and practice our faith to maturity. Although we are likely to sin because we are still in the flesh, we must remember that we will be held accountable to every action of ours.
It clear that it is appointed unto man once to die and after death, there is judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Many people think that when they die, life has ended; they are not aware that there is life after death. Death is not the end of life but the beginning of eternity either in heaven or in hell. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 says “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Some people have said that nobody can tell them how to live their lives; it is true nobody will control how such people live their lives now but God will demand an account of how they lived their lives later in eternity. God shall bring everyone and every work to judgment. God will bring your success under judgement, did you falsify receipt to make money or trampled on someone to go up in life? Are you fraudulent or corrupt? Can you justify every penny that you earned? God will bring all these fake prophets many are following and their congregation to judgement(your ignorance doesn’t save or exclude you). Acts 17:30-31 “Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all men everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed.” I pray your actions and words on earth will not testify against you in Heaven in Jesus’ Name.
Beloved, there are many people who have wasted their lives on earth and are already in eternity in hell. They are wishing to be given a second chance to amend their ways but it is already too late. You may claim not to have time for God yet you have time for night club and other unprofitable things, God is watching you. My advice is that you cultivate a relationship with God, adjusting your life today in order not to regret tomorrow. Make up your mind to study God’s Word diligently and allow the Word to renew and renovate your mind-set for a profitable and productive life and destiny. Live to fulfill God’s plan and purpose for your life. Remember, everyone will stand before God to account for his life on earth.
O Lord, let me always live my life with a high sense of accountability and help me to exist in the consciousness of serving You with fear and reverence in Jesus Name.
