Breathe And Hope By Faith

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith plays a crucial role in the Christian experience, serving as a foundational element for spiritual practice and engagement. Without faith, the essence of Christianity diminishes, as it acts as the primary catalyst for achieving significant outcomes within the Kingdom. Faith goes beyond mere belief; it is a deep trust in God’s promises and character. Faith is about having confidence and assurance even when we can’t see the outcome or understand the process thoroughly. It gives us the capacity to bring into existence what has never existed. Creation or production of things that never existed before is made possible by faith. Faith is accepting, obeying, and acting on God’s Word with absolute trust that God will do what He said He would do; that is having complete confidence in God’s unfailing ability. Faith is to believe in the incredible, dare the unthinkable, and do the impossible. Walking in faith, we position ourselves as strong candidates for extraordinary achievements as the Hand of God delivers remarkable results. Those who possess true faith embrace what others deem impossible, boldly pursue what seems unthinkable, and accomplish feats that are considered unattainable. Faith is an active journey that demands decisive action. It is essential to understand that walking in faith without taking concrete steps is foolish and rooted in baseless assumptions and misguided presumptions.

Faith is firmly rooted in the presence of hope. Hope acts as the fundamental building block upon which faith is constructed. Through faith, hope is given substance, transforming it from an abstract idea into a tangible reality. This dynamic relationship empowers faith to make hope a possibility and certainty, demonstrating the powerful capacity to convert the intangible into something tangible. Faith isn’t just hoping things will work out; it’s knowing they will because of who God is. It means trusting God’s plan and timing, even when things seem uncertain or complex. There are no men of faith who are not first men of hope. So, the scarcity of hope is the bankruptcy of faith. Anywhere hope is scarce, faith will be in short supply. It explains the reason behind the fall of the Wall of Jericho. In Mark 10:46-52, blind Bartimaeus just heard that Jesus was passing by. He never saw Him perform miracles. He only heard, and he keyed into what he heard. Despite hindrances from people, his faith remained unshaken, and his great faith made Jesus stand still and attend to him. Jesus said to blind Bartimaeus, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” In other words, people of faith do not lack evidence. Losing faith puts our lives at risk because the righteous live by faith. Any aspect of our faith that is dead will come alive today in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, you need faith to walk with God and, more importantly, to access His expectations for your life. Great faith brings significant confidence, and great hope brings massive manifestation. Make up your mind to live by faith, cultivate the life of faith to have a joyful destiny on Earth, and make it to eternity in Heaven. Decide to strengthen your faith and become a powerful force for remarkable achievements on Earth. Today, provoke your faith in God by taking practical action steps based on the Word of God. Reflect on past moments where your faith has seen you through challenging times, for faith is the key that opens the door to the realm of all possibilities. Practice and strengthen your faith in your daily life, and let your faith never shift its ground. As you face each day with faith and expectancy, you’ll increase in strength and see God’s Hand in every area of your life! May God strengthen your faith so you can walk boldly in the path He has set for you. Breathe your next breath by faith. Hope by faith, even in the darkest of times. Remember, faith is a powerful tool that can carry you through life’s uncertainties.

O Lord, give me the grace to live by faith by taking faith-based action steps in Jesus’ Name.
