That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
Jesus is undeniably the Author and Finisher of our faith, our great High Priest, Shepherd, and King, abounding in grace and truth and consistently walking in willing obedience to the Spirit of God throughout His life. As the Son of God, He willingly departed from the glory of Heaven and the presence of His Father, taking on human form and submitting Himself to death, even the death on the Cross. For this reason, God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the Name above every name so that at the mention of the Name of Jesus, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW to the glorious honor of God the Father. The Name of Jesus deserves all honor and praise, might and majesty, dominion, and power, for there is no other name under Heaven whereby we are saved. Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.” The power in the Name of Jesus is so potent and active that there is no limitation to what we can achieve by applying the Name. As believers, we gather in His Name and come to the throne of grace through the same Name of Jesus. Through His Name, we enjoy eternal life and abundant life by grace through faith. 1 John 5:13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
The Name of Jesus holds the unmatched ability to overpower and diminish the works of the devil. This Name serves as an impenetrable shield for the children of God, ensuring their protection from all harm. Essentially, the Name of Jesus exerts unparalleled authority and limitless power. The Name of Jesus is the security upon which we should base our lives; only in the Name of Jesus is our safety guaranteed. Calling the Name of Jesus makes things happen in the spirit and physical realms. In the realm of spiritual warfare, believers wield the authority to dispatch angels, conquer demonic forces, shatter limitations, and orchestrate favorable outcomes through the potent Name of Jesus. This authority empowers them to annul the works of the adversary, liberate the oppressed, evangelize, and wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to advancing the purposes of the Kingdom. The Name of Jesus is the Name of authority in Heaven and hell; demons, death, and satan tremble at the awesome Name of JESUS. When we serve and rely on His Name, He can exert His Power to tame the raging storms of life. The Name of the Lord is not just a Name but a tower of refuge. Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” No matter how mad the devil and his agents get with us, they cannot pursue us into the Strong Tower of the Lord. There will always be attacks and plots from the pit of hell, but how we position ourselves will determine whether we come out victorious.
Beloved, in your times of greatest joy and our personal need, the Name you cling to is Jesus Christ. He will never leave you, and His love will not fail. Thank and praise God for the power in the Name of Jesus! Live right to dwell inside the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Know the Name of Jesus in times of peace so He can answer you in times of war. Ensure that you always hide in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for your preservation. Today, take your position in the Strong Tower, and you shall be victorious over every challenge in life. Use the Name of the Lord to confront the battles you are facing now, and you will see them crumble before you. Anything from your past, present, or future daring to trouble you bows to the Name of Jesus. Have no fear, knowing His Grace is abounding towards you right now to help you in all that you need or do. If there is ever a time that you need to shout that Name, more than ever before, it is now. Demons must bow, and all sickness and diseases (cancer and stroke included), poverty and lack must bow, shame and all other afflictions must bow now in the Name of Jesus. You are set free from all curses because of the Name of Jesus. As you call upon the Name of Jesus today, may the potent power in His Name work for you in Jesus’ Name. Remember, whatever is troubling you, if it has a name, it must bow to the Name of Jesus; just remember that Name in all you do!
O Lord, thank You for the power of Your Name. By Your Name, let every negative situation in my life bow in Jesus’ Name.
