Breaking The Forces Of Curses

Galatians 3:13–14(ESV)

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree” so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

A curse is a word spoken to invite a supernatural power to inflict harm or injury on someone, place, or thing, as the case may be. Curses are also afflictions, pains, woes, misfortunes, and so on, passed from one generation to another. These are negative behavioral patterns transferred from one group to another of that bloodline. Our ancestors consciously or unconsciously entered into some negative covenants or satanic agreements with the devil that are binding, carrying consequences when broken. So, when the children of these idolatrous ancestors become born-again and do not break these covenants and curses, they often battle with problems, yokes, and all kinds of bondage, oppression, and affliction. Their evil covenants and occultic practices could be responsible for the stagnation, marital and financial distress, ill-health, unpardonable errors, disfavor, wrong position, loss of opportunities, disappointment, rejection, and all manner of afflictions.

The Scripture makes it abundantly clear that Christ died not only to redeem us from death but also to deliver us from curses. The atoning death of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary and His substitutionary work inclusive of His Resurrection are powerful grounds on which our release, as believers, from curses is founded. Jesus shed His precious Blood and died a cursed death for our sins and deliverance of humanity. He had to hang on the Cross to ensure that we were set free from every curse in our lives. That is, in Christ, we do not partake of any generational curse, but we are partakers of generational blessings. In other words, Christ has taken our curses and given us His blessings. So, the Blood that matters for us now is not our blood or our parent’s blood but the Blood of Jesus Christ. And we overcame the devil by the Blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony(Rev. 12:11). 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” The moment we make Jesus Christ Lord of our lives, deliverance from the lordship of satan is our portion. There is redemption from the curse. We have authority over it in the Name of Jesus because God sent Jesus to redeem us from the curse. The rest is up to us. Till the Lord returns, continue to fight the good fight of faith by enforcing our victory over the devil, the world, and the flesh.

Beloved, faith in the work of Christ on Calvary is the antidote of the acts of the curse. By virtue of redemption, your deliverance from curses is mandatory. Deliverance is yours. Know that Christ has redeemed you from the curse. So, no matter the curse operating in your family, it will not affect you because you are a child of God. You have a different foundation, and your case is different from the others! You cannot be a victim of perennial afflictions and nightmares because Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the law being made a curse for you. You are exempted from any negative pattern that follows people in your lineage by the mystery of the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Cross came to crush the curse. So, you need to know that no matter how wicked a native doctor or witch is, whatever they have to do against you is inferior to what Christ already did for you on Calvary. Today, rejoice because the Power of God and the Blood of Jesus are available to break all curses and set you free. Run to God for help by becoming a born-again Christian and repent of all your sins. Surrender your life to Jesus(If you have not yet done so). Make up your mind to live fully for Jesus Christ since He died for you. Live a holy life and maintain a healthy friendship with God. Abide in His Word. Constantly, plead Blood of Jesus to destroy every curse working against your life. Enforce the victory Christ earned for you at Calvary against every curse working against His will for your life. In the Name of Jesus, any curse working against your life breaks now. The Blood of Jesus nullifies all hidden and unbroken curses troubling your life and destiny in Jesus’ Name. Walk in the light of this revelation and let the insight you have received guide your moves.

O Lord, thank You for setting me free from every curse by the Blood of Jesus Christ. I am unstoppable in Jesus’ Name.
