Bring All the Tithe

From Scriptures, we understand that the prosperity plan of God is a covenant. There is a part we must play before we can commit God to do His Part. Therefore, until our part of the covenant is fulfilled, we cannot commit God to bless us. It is written in Deuteronomy 8:18, “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”. It is clear from the Scripture, God has a covenant in place that empowers us into realms of financial fortune. It is not the doctrine of the church but God’s covenant, it is a covenant of the Kingdom that launches the believer into realms of financial prosperity. It is written in Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” That is God’s covenant of financial prosperity is as binding as His covenant of day and night. Proverbs 3:9 also says “Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:” We are to honor God with our substance and with our first-fruits of all our increase.

Tithe is the one tenth of our increase or earnings, it is holy and it belongs to God. Tithing is God’s principal term of the covenant of abundance that opens the windows of Heaven to the children of God, for the showers of the blessings of God. We must understand that any sacrifice can bring us to any level of the blessing, but only our tithes can preserve it. We must therefore attach importance to tithing because our prosperity in life partly hinges on this. Tithe is God’s portion that makes the remainder meaningful. Many people are impoverished today because of their unfaithfulness in giving tithes. When we stop tithing, we stop the flow of God’s blessings in our lives. Some people say the tithe was an Old Testament practice. It is a lie from the pit of hell. It is written in Hebrews 7:8 “And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.” In other words, when we pay our tithes although a pastor who is a mortal man collect the tithes from our hands but there is a Heavenly High Priest who receives it. So, the tithe is still on record in the archives of Heaven. Whether we are managing our finances or the gifts God entrusted to us, know that tithing is an act of obedience, the proof of faith in the All-Sufficient God and the acknowledgement that God is the Source of all our resources. Paying our tithes freely and fearlessly can show our confidence in the care of our loving Father—the ultimate generous Giver.

Beloved, make up your mind to secure your resources and open heavens by the covenant practice of tithing. Be committed to the covenant of tithing and refuse to spend your income without paying your tithe. Devourers are not permitted to destroy the fruit of your labor if you are a tither. It does not matter how long a person prays for a change of story, if he/she is not a tither, the struggle continues. Ask God for forgiveness in any way you have robbed Him by not paying your tithe. As you pay your tithe and remain consistent in tithing, the last time you lost money shall be the last forever, the devil and his agents are not permitted to resist or alter your destiny ever again in Jesus’ Name. Remember, failure to pay tithe is robbery to God and it attracts curses while paying it attracts the blessings of God.
