Come Before His Presence

Psalm 95:2 (KJV)

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

The Presence of God is the greatest asset of man on earth. Knowing that thanksgiving and praise give us access to the Presence of God is critical. It is the password to use when we want to enter into His Presence. It is also written in Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” We see that the right way to come into the Presence of God is to do so with thanksgiving and praise. We cannot gain entrance into His gates without thanksgiving or access His court without praise. We open a pathway to connect with God through thanksgiving and praise. We can experience His goodness, mercy, and power through this connection as He works in our lives. However, when we come before God with complaints and murmurs instead of thanks and praises, we will not gain access to His Gates, let alone the courts of His Presence.

Giving thanks and praise are the most distinctive marks of true believers. Thanking and praising God for what He has done for us or what we expect becomes an action of faith that moves God into action for more significant manifestations. It secures, confirms, stabilizes, establishes, certifies, and seals our miracles. The Will of God for every believer at all times, under all conditions, and in all circumstances is to thank and praise Him. True Christians should not go a day without thanking and praising God. We are to count our blessings and name them individually, showing appreciation for all the grace, favor and love God has given us. David wrote in Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Thank and praise God with gratitude as we identify the things He has done in our lives. Psalm 96:8 says, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.” It is imperative always to express gratitude to God, regardless of our current emotions. We must acknowledge that our worship is not solely a reflection of our fleeting feelings but an obligation to our Creator, who sustains us every moment. Recognizing this truth can significantly enhance our worship and deepen our connection with God.

Beloved, praise God in the beauty of holiness, and you will see His Hand at work. Come into His Presence today and give acceptable thanksgiving to God, making a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise. Make thanksgiving and praise a lifestyle. Be focused on what God has done for you, and praise Him for what He is yet to do. Miracles or no miracles, healing or no healing, breakthroughs or no breakthroughs, you are the embodiment of God’s Mercy and Favor; therefore, you are to come to Him daily and give Him thanks and praise. Even if it seems as though everything is going upside down for you, thank and praise Him for the fact that you are still alive because God cannot ignore a thankful and praiseful heart. Identify five(5) things God has done for you and be grateful and praiseful, knowing that God loves you and is working it out for your good. Thank and praise Him for who He is and what He does with assurance in your heart of the more extraordinary things He will do. From today, follow Heaven’s protocol in approaching God, and you will have your heart’s desires. Remember, God will always be the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and your intimately loving Father. He deserves your genuine joy-filled thanks and praise.

O Lord, thank You for all things. I praise You from my heart, do not let me ever be tired of giving acceptable thanks and praise to You in Jesus’ Name.
