Delight in the Lord.

Job 22:26(KJV)
For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
The word “delights” means great pleasure, happiness, joy and amusement. Delighting ourselves in the Lord implies that we have universal confidence in Him. It is the greatest pleasure we can experience in life knowing that the Father who adores us is walking hand in hand. To delight is to, be available for His Work, proclaim His faithfulness to all generations and radiate His Glory by shining light to others. Many delight in wealth, position, material possessions and other temporary things of the world, but they are never satisfied. However, delighting in the Lord is a true treasure.
As a Christian, our main purpose on earth is to always delight in God and look up to Him for all things. Psalm 37:4 says “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” God wants us to be totally dependent on Him, trust in His will for us, and follow the path that He is leading us through. When God delights in you and you delight in Him, He makes your life delightful. When you delight yourself in the Lord, success is assured. Everything it takes for you and your family to succeed is made available. When God delights in you, everyone against your progress is silenced and you enjoy all-round security and speedy answers to your prayers. I have never seen any man who has taken to the Lord wholeheartedly and end up failing in life. You can’t fail, because failure is not consistent with you. You will succeed in anything you choose to do! As you delight yourself in the Lord, He will supply His Grace and the necessary human help to see to your success. No matter what has happened, He will take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it around for your good. He always leads us in victory.
Beloved, delight yourself in the Lord, instead of focusing on your problem, focus on your God. Focus on the fact that He is with you. Remember that He is walking with you, leading and guiding you to a place of peace and victory. Today, keep moving forward knowing that God has a good plan for you! The Psalmist says in Psalms 121:1-2: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Look unto Jesus Christ as that is where light and help comes from, and not to the situation, where only discouragement and pain abides. Keep on obeying the instructions the Lord has given concerning your life, and He shall turn your situations around for good.
O Lord, give me the grace to delight in You and help me to totally submit to Your Will and Way in Jesus’ Name.
