Divine Connection Brings Elevation

Genesis 40:4-5 (KJV)

And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season inward. And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

God strategically places specific individuals in our lives at every stage of our journey to ensure it flows smoothly. These divine appointments and connections are not by chance; they are orchestrated to help fulfill promises and events destined for us. Throughout the Bible, powerful examples of these connections are Ruth and Naomi, David and Jonathan, Elijah and Elisha, and Paul and Timothy. Each of these relationships was instrumental in guiding individuals toward their true destiny. Even under challenging circumstances, Joseph remained faithful and compassionate. He cared for the cupbearer and the baker, showing kindness and attention to their needs. His willingness to serve and his ability to interpret dreams highlight the importance of staying faithful to our gifts and callings, even when facing our own challenges. Joseph’s life changed when he met the cupbearer in prison. Although he was forgotten for two whole years, all the same, it was the connection that propelled Joseph to become prime minister of Egypt. Joseph’s interpretation of the cupbearer’s dream in prison became his vital link to Pharaoh in the palace, leading him to interpret the dreams of the great ruler.

A divine connection is a supernatural act of God whereby He links up two or more people together to fulfill their destinies. They are God-breathed relationships that seemingly come out of nowhere and have the potential to impact our lives. In other words, they are vital to fulfilling the call of God in our lives. These connections are there to encourage, support, celebrate, promote, empower, and pray for and with us. It is written in Psalm 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” Divine connections are invaluable, for God uses these relationships to guide us toward our destinies, leading us to greater abundance. We can confidently expect to receive His guidance through the divine connections He orchestrates as the Spirit of God moves and leads us. It’s essential that we recognize these divine connections, as they often come in unexpected forms. The fulfillment of God’s purpose in our lives, as well as the destiny He has meticulously crafted for each of us, hinges significantly on our willingness to connect with specific people and ministries that align with His plan. God has and will continue to bless us with divine connections. Ecclesiastes 9:11 says, “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

Beloved, the opportunity to meet the right people to advance your career or to fulfill your dreams will come together for your good. God has already prearranged your times of increase, promotion, and blessings. He created you with a purpose, for a purpose, and to be successful! God has marked moments already laid out that are going to come across your path. Never worry or be depressed about not winning right now, but continue to look up to God for His blessings in your life because the fastest runner does not always win the race or the battle with the strong. I pray for you today that God will give you divine connections that will confound everyone who hears about it in Jesus’ Name. To be divinely connected, add virtue and brotherly kindness to your faith because faith without work is dead. Renew your relationship with the Lord and let holiness become your watchword. Thank Him for what He is doing and continue to do. Remember, remain hopeful and diligent, even in tough times, knowing God is at work in your life.
