Ezekiel 36:11(KJV)
And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Divine settlement is experiencing deliverance from our challenges, struggles, or pains. It is to get compensated by God. After many years of oppression from heathen oppressors, the Lord promised the Israelites to settle them. The Lord promised the land of Israel would again become fruitful, its cities rebuilt, men and beasts multiplied, and be no more liable to destruction, nor bear the reproach from the heathen. In settling the Israelites, God promised them they would do better than their beginning. Divine settlement from God gives us freedom from the captivity and strongholds of our enemies. When God settles His children, they enjoy freedom from satanic oppression and torment. When God gets involved in our situation, He wipes away tears from our eyes. When God decides to be involved in the affairs of man, every obstacle becomes surmounted, and the forces of Heaven begin to turn our difficulties into miracles, trials into triumphs, and tests into testimonies. Everything becomes possible to us, and our challenges become history.
Throughout the Bible, there are various instances where God settles His children. In Genesis 21:1-2, against all odds and biological reasoning, Sarah was divinely settled with the fruit of the womb. She bore Abraham a son even in old age. Hannah and Elizabeth had their cases of barrenness also settled in one day. After enduring many hardships in Egypt, God used Pharoah to settle Joseph. He became the second in command and the first Prime Minister of Egypt. In Job 42:10-16, God restored to Job everything that the enemy stole from him after many years of tragedy and misfortune. When settled, all our rights and privileges denied or taken away from us are returned and restored. It is written in Luke 5:5-6 “But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.” Simon Peter was divinely settled after a night of toiling and catching nothing. The God of settlement will pay us in full in Jesus’ Name. He will compensate us for lost glory. He will comfort and restore us to a place of peace and rest. Get ready to see all our problems get settled!
