Do Not Be Afraid or Discouraged!

2 Chronicles 20:17(NLT)
But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you.
Notice today’s verse teaches us that God is always with you. He wants you to stand still and watch Him give you victory you so desire. The good news is that you don’t have to do it in your own strength! He has equipped you with His supernatural power to overcome every obstacle. When Jehoshaphat inquired from God what they needed to do, to win the battle against their enemies, God instructed them not to fight but to engage in praise warfare. As they obeyed, God cause the enemies to fight among themselves and they destroyed each other, fulfilling the prophetic word from the Lord.
The enemy’s roars and shouts against us always trigger a response from the Holy Spirit living inside us. No wonder Isaiah 59:19 says, “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” God has zero tolerance for the enemy’s harassments and threats against His Children, whom He bought with the precious Blood of His Son, Jesus. With this understanding, you will realize that our God is the Greatest Ally you can have in the battle of life. The Almighty God is Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord our Banner, and He is the Lord of Hosts. Therefore, the battle is not yours but His. Always be conscious of the reality of the Lord as Jehovah-Nissi in your life. If you’re going to live in victory the way God intends, you have to learn how to face your challenges head on. So many people today run from anything that’s hard. They run from people they don’t like, the past, their problems and responsibility forgetting that God is with them.
Beloved, in spite of these progressive attacks of the enemy, God expects you to rejoice, knowing fully well that although the battle may be fierce, the Lord of Hosts and the Captain of our Salvation is in your midst leading the charge against the enemy’s camp. Make the decision today to stand strong for God is with you. Be bold and dare to conquer, engaging the weapon of high praises to secure God’s Presence into your circumstances. As you stand in faith, you will see the salvation, the deliverance of Almighty God in every area of your life! The God of all flesh will fight your battles and give you the victory. Your dream will not be aborted because the desire of the enemy against you will never succeed. Be still and know that He is God!
O Lord, thank You for Your Word, I choose today to stand in faith and invite You to move mightily on my behalf in Jesus’ Name.
