Philippians 1:28(NLT)
Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.
From our anchored Scripture Paul urge us not to be intimidated in any way by our enemies. The truth is, many people have escaped from the traps of the devil, the battles of life, and other dangers by virtue of their fearlessness. Boldness and fearlessness produce great signs, wonders and destroys the control of fear. Fearlessness is a proof of faith in God and anywhere God sees faith He moves. Fearlessness boldness and courage are what rescues us and commits God to deliver us from every battle before us. It is written in Joshua 10:24-25 “When they brought them out, Joshua told the commanders of his army, “Come and put your feet on the kings’ necks.” And they did as they were told. “Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged,” Joshua told his men. “Be strong and courageous, for the Lord is going to do this to all of your enemies.” We are guaranteed victory in every battle when we are fearless and courageous.
Life will have its difficulties, hardship and fearsome situations, but we are not to fear because our Savior, who loves us more than life, is greater than them all and God has not given us the spirit of fear. Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and has begot us as lions to roar and overcome the fictional roar of the devil. So, we are the ones to roar not the devil and his intimidations from the pit of hell. Proverbs 30:30 says “the lion, king of animals, who won’t turn aside for anything,” So, to be fearless is to be strong. That is, the lion is bold, and because the lion is bold, it is strong and does not turn away from any challenge. We as children of God are not permitted to turn away from any battle or challenge because every time we give in to fear or threats, we lose out to the devil. Threat is the weapon of the devil; so, the more we are threatened, the more we should speak with boldness. King David did not only kill Goliath by the use of stone but his heart was filled with boldness and he magnified God over Goliath(1 Sam. 17:45-50).
Beloved, never give in to noisy intimidation. When you know God is backing you, nobody can intimidate you. Signs and wonders only follow those who do not fear or panic on the inside. With God on your side, there is no reason to be intimidated by your enemies. You don’t have to be intimidated by anything in this world for it’s no match for our God. God has you in the palm of His Hand. Do not be afraid of those who hate you. Their hate for you proves they will be destroyed. It proves you have life from God that lasts forever. Nothing can snatch you away. If it’s not your time to go, you’re not going to go anywhere. Don’t be intimidated by the threats from the pit of hell, that financial problem, sickness, by what somebody said about you or is saying. It is a sign their end is near and that you’re saved. There is an anointing on your life that seals, protects, enables and empowers you. God has infused you with strength. The Scripture says that you can do all things through Christ. Today, go out with confidence and boldness knowing that if God is for you, it doesn’t even matter who is against you! No foe can stand against the power of Almighty God. Rejoice in the Lord always and declare boldly to satan that you are a winner. You are empowered and equipped for victory, so don’t be intimidated!
O Lord, thank You for empowering me to live in victory no matter what I may be facing. I won’t be intimidated by anything in Jesus’ Name!
