Genesis 1:1-3(KJV)
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
The Bible tells us God is a Creator. And His Word creates solutions. The first appearance of the Word brought about a solution. Creation is solely an act of God. It is not an accident, a mistake, or the product of an inferior deity, but the self-expression of God. We also understand from the above Scripture that the earth was without form and void, but as God spoke the Word, it took shape and color. God spoke, and things came into being that were not there before, beginning with the universe itself. Although the Holy Spirit was moving upon the face of the waters, nothing was happening until God released the Word. For God to repair the earth or start His restoration of this earth, He spoke to it. He used words to create the universe.
The Bible is full of Scriptures to support the power in God’s Word. God accomplishes all his work by speaking of the Word. God said…” and everything happened. So, the Word puts us in command of everything, and everything remains under the command of the Word forever. John 1:1-3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.” God and His Word are the same. God is Spirit, and so is His Word. Jesus, speaking on the potency of the Word, said in John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” God’s Word is Spirit and life, and it can quicken. So, God’s Spirit dwells in His Word. In other words, anything that cannot stop God cannot stop His Word from having its way. The Spirit of the Lord in His Word levels every mountain of the wicked and empowers us. Therefore, when we engage the Word in battle, our triumph is guaranteed. Our God is the creator of heaven and earth, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, is the One who knows all things and specializes in bringing to pass the impossible. The Word of God will always make a way where there is no way and a space where there is no space. God’s Word is ordained to furnish, beautify and decorate us. When God’s Word is at work, the powers of darkness are shattered and destroyed. As Christians, every Word received, accepted, and engaged becomes as unstoppable as God. Psalm 119:89 says, “Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Beloved, God’s Word still creates solutions today, and this is why when you believe Him, His Word continues to create solutions in your life. God has entrusted you with the ability to exert power through your speech. So you can speak life or death to your life or situation. Your words can take you above or beneath. Simply put, you can change your future by changing your words. Use the Rhema of God to overcome whatever is within the cosmos that is fabricated or reworked against you in your time and era. Don’t sit idle and let satan and his agents run a rampage and distort things around you. Be in charge and in control of how things go with you from day to day by speaking forth God’s Word. Alter your destiny and change the course of events in your world by putting the Word of God to work. There is power in the Word of God. The Word of God has creative power. So, use it, and your life will never be the same. You can do this because you are a child of God. Examine your life and see if there are ways in which you have not been heeding God’s Word. Repent so that you may begin to live in the supernatural from now.
O LORD, thank You for Your Word. Give me the grace to speak words that only agree with Your Word and experience Your victory in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.
