Isaiah 49:16(KJV)
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
The thought of God engraving us on the Palms of His Hands is so precious that we can run over it in our minds. He loves us so much that He has our names inscribed on His Palm. Our God can never forget us; He has us so close to Him that He ensures all things work together for our good, gives people for our sake, and protects us as the apple of His Eyes. No matter how many children He has around the globe, He knows every single one by name(Isaiah 43:1). God values every strand of our hair so much that He even numbered each one so that not a single one falls without His attention. The Almighty God sees and remembers us every second of the day. And He is always available and willing to help us. As the Lord promised to engrave His people on His Palms; so Jesus stretched out His Arms on the Cross, receiving the nails in His Hands so we could be free of our sins. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
The Bible is filled with revelations of different dimensions of God’s love. However, during trials, troubles, and tribulations of life there is always the temptation to think that God has forgotten about us. It is likely that we have gone through a period where we have felt like we are facing the impossible. The feelings and emotions of being alone and far from God seem to overwhelm us during these seasons, but we are not alone in these struggles we are currently facing. Although God may allow trials, troubles, and tribulations of life into our lives, we should not conclude from this that He does not care about us and that He has forgotten about us. God’s love for us is unlimited! The knowledge of His love keeps us stable even in danger. Psalm 27:10 says, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” Men may have disregarded us, fathers and mothers and relations may have forgotten us, but the God we serve has not forgotten us. God has a plan for us, and we will reach that purpose. Understand that God has engraved us upon the Palms of His Hands! We are always before the eyes of the Lord, and His Love for us never fails.
Beloved, in the event that you feel God has forgotten you, you only need to look at your palm and remember God’s Promise. He has put indelible marks on His Hands for you; He loves you that much. As a child of God, always remember God cares about you; God has not forgotten you. He has the pictures of you in His palm to prove it. Others may forget about you, but God will lift you up. The Lord is close to holding you as long as you live a righteous life. Be at peace because nothing will change God’s mind about you. Although He did not promise that the road would be smooth without any trials or temptations through life, He promised to be with us all the time. His Presence with you is an assurance that no trouble can consume you. The Lord is always mindful of you and will bless you beyond measure. You are just too special to God for Him to love you less. So, enjoy the fragrance of His love and stay in His love always. Today, learn to live by the proceeding word of God. Let the Holy Spirit be your partner in this journey. Walk every step with Him; you will see the impossible become possible in your life.
