Faith-The Key To Pleasing God

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

From the above Scripture, it is evident that without faith, it is impossible to please God. We discover that faith is the master key for accessing the possibilities of God and taking the delivery of our inheritances in Christ. Faith isn’t just a casual belief; it’s a deep trust and earnest seeking. It’s about believing in God’s Presence and His Promise to reward those who diligently seek Him. Faith is one of the most important attributes of Christians; we stand, walk, and live on faith. Christianity is based on faith, and to please God is to live by faith every day. Romans 1:17 says, “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” When God wants to do anything in the lives of His children, our faith is required. Faith is standing on the integrity of God’s Word, which commits God to perform what He has declared or spoken concerning us. It makes us speak the unspeakable, deliver the impossible, and see the incredible. It is also confirmed that our God dwells in the realm of possibilities; therefore, with faith in God, all things are possible. Faith triggers the flow of power, which brings about the goodness of God.

In our daily lives, it’s a call to approach every situation with faith, trusting that our efforts to connect with and follow God’s guidance will lead to blessings and fulfillment. As we have faith in God, He honors and rewards our faith but hates and condemns unbelief. Abraham’s faith unequivocally pleased God. God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, and Abraham unwaveringly believed in God. Consequently, God acknowledged Abraham as righteous. When Moses sent twelve spies to scout Canaan, ten returned with a report filled with doubt, fear, and unbelief, while Caleb and Joshua expressed confidence. As a result, God allowed only Caleb and Joshua to enter the Promised Land. There are special promises from God to those who exercise faith. Matthew 17:20 says, “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” The concept of overcoming the impossible through faith is centered on believing in the power of God and His Word as the ultimate solution to life’s challenges and the key to achieving breakthroughs. Mustard-seed faith, characterized by unwavering determination and resilience, enables us to withstand adversity and experience supernatural transformation. This faith is essential for accessing God’s power, which is necessary for healing, deliverance, and liberation. In essence, the presence of faith is crucial for witnessing the transformative power of God in our lives.

Beloved, it is impossible to live for God, to follow and serve Him daily, and to persevere until the end without faith. Walking in faith is enriching and rewarding, for it doesn’t only end you with God in Heaven, but it gives you all that pertains to life and godliness. Make up your mind today to have the mountain-moving faith and have unwavering confidence in God’s Words and Promises. Receive constant light to grow your faith because, as plants cannot do without sunlight, faith cannot do without constant revelation of the Word of God. Never allow your situation to limit you. You must refuse to allow your surroundings to limit your expectations and be pregnant with greatness, and God will reward your faith. By your faith, you shall dominate every demonic spirit by quenching all the fiery darts of the devil in Jesus’ Name. Remember, without faith, it is impossible to please God, believe His Word, and obey it.

O LORD, give me the grace to develop mountain-moving faith and deal with every root of unbelief in my life in Jesus’ Name.
