God Answers the Righteous!

Psalm 34:15(KJV)
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
It is very clear that only those who are in right standing with God should expect answers to their prayers. As comforting as this iconic Scripture may be to all who can look up and see it, there is much greater comfort from this reality when we pray in the Name of Jesus. As His disciples, we pray with the assurance of His Promise in John 14:14 which says “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” Every righteous person has a right to pray and expect answers, it’s part of our heritage in Christ because God is faithful who has called us into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
The righteous is bold when it comes to prayer, they are confident that their life pleases God who will not close His Ears to their prayers. Abraham, Samuel, Elijah and Jesus all lived righteously before God and they all showed unwavering faith and great confidence in God and their prayer lives produced phenomenal results. Paul also admonishes us to come boldly or confidently to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. There are benefits we get as righteous children which we never get or experience until we know who we are in Christ. There is never a moment when God takes His eyes off of us. He is always attentive and knows what we need before we even ask for it. Our God oversees our lives, and He hears the cries of those who trust Him. He is near to help in our greatest times of need. A popular hymn written by Irish poet, Joseph Medlicott Scriven says “O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.” Take everything to Him in prayer and do not carry the burden, pain, problem or hardship. It is also written in 1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” In other words, God’s Eyes are open to the righteous and His Ears are open to their prayers. However, God is against those who do evil. John 9:31 says “We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will.” We should not deceive ourselves for God does not listen to sinners. As long as our sins are intact, He will not listen to us, the only time He listens is when we repent of our sins and ask Him for forgiveness.
Beloved, as you live a righteous life know that the eyes of God are always over you and your prayers are heard by Him. The righteous is at liberty to go to Him at all times and pour out their heart desires before Him. God hears our prayers, so never stop praying. He is watching over you and is listening for your prayers right now. Keep praying, knowing you will surely receive answers. Enter into the Throne Room of Grace and pour out your heart before God this day and as His Word says He will not hide His Face from you. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 11:3 “if the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth.” Keep filling the clouds with your heartfelt prayers and they will empty themselves upon your life. Praying without ceasing is the secret of winning in life because the prayer of the righteous is effective and powerful. Today, have faith in God, hold on to Him and never give up! I will end with 2 Chronicles 6:20 “May you watch over this Temple day and night, this place where you have said you would put your name. May you always hear the prayers I make toward this place”. I pray that every request you make to God as from today shall be answered by fire in Jesus Name.
O Lord, thank You for watching over me and opening Your Ears to my prayers in Jesus’ Name.
