God Will Do A New Thing

Isaiah 43:19(KJV)

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

From the above Scripture, it is clear that we serve the God of a new beginning. It is one of His attributes and Nature to turn things around at the start of every new season. In the Bible, God demonstrates His sovereignty at the inception of new life phases and seasons. He promises to create paths in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Although this may seem implausible to human logic, all things are achievable with God. Commencing the new month and season with the assurance of divine innovation from our Father, the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all, is truly remarkable. The Bible says in Revelation 22:13, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Indeed, our God is a God of new beginnings who gives everyone a fresh start to grow. The God we serve always moves into new levels to manifest Himself in the works of His Hands. He does so to tell us that we can trust Him to turn the impossibilities of our lives into possibilities.

In the biblical narrative, we witness compelling examples of divine intervention leading to new opportunities and trajectories. For instance, in the story of Joseph, Pharaoh’s dream resulted in a new role for Joseph as a Prime Minister, showcasing the undeniable capability of God to orchestrate unconventional methods to fulfill destinies. Additionally, the Book of Job exemplifies how God’s intervention after a series of tragedies signifies the concept of “new beginnings.” Despite Job’s immense adversity, the narrative portrays a remarkable restoration of his losses, symbolizing a powerful fresh start. These stories boldly exemplify the transformative Nature of divine intervention in creating new pathways and opportunities. There will be a new time of forgiveness, blessing, restoration, increase, and God’s Abiding Presence if we can put the past behind us and focus on the present and God’s ability to do the impossible. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Live in hope and confident expectation that somehow it will turn outright.
