God Will Fight For You

Deuteronomy 20:3-4 (KJV)

And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

It is unequivocally confirmed that, among various vital conditions, maintaining unwavering trust in God and embracing a state of rest—free from anxiety and fear—are essential for the divine workings in our lives. In our anchored Scripture, Moses admonished the Israelites that their battles towards possessing the land that flows with milk and honey were in the Hands of God. He assured them to stand strong and not be afraid of the enemies that opposed them in their conquest of the Promised Land. When we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by fear, worry, and pressure, we hinder our ability to invite God’s victorious intervention. While challenging and doubt-filled situations will always arise, we must boldly counter these doubts with steadfast faith in God as true victory manifests His power. God acknowledges the struggles of His children, and He is also powerfully engaged in confronting those battles on their behalf. The certainty that God stands with the righteous instills profound peace. It is unequivocally true that one aligned with God is a majority, reflecting the strength and assurance found in divine support during times of challenge.

God still fights for His people; He undertakes every battle for His children and always makes them victorious. Those who attempt to fight against God’s people unwittingly battle against God Himself. While facing the Red Sea with no visible way to cross it, the children of Israel suddenly had the Egyptian army rushing furiously towards them. Faced with this impossible situation, Moses said this to them in Exodus 14:14, “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” When the Commander-in-Chief of the Heavenly hosts is fighting for us, we need not be afraid or terrified. Living in victory and being on top of every situation in peace and confidence is guaranteed if we love God, cleave to Him, and obey His voice without fear. Deuteronomy 30:20 says, “That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” When we love God above anyone and anything else, obedient completely to Him, hooked on Him and not on any “pleasure” giving habit, He promises life and the length of our days. What an incredible promise! When we are dear to God, we cannot be dared by any enemy or the devil; we are victors. It is also written in 1 Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” As long as Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is in our boat, that boat will never sink. We can go to sleep amid an earthquake when God is with us.

Beloved, anyone attempting to harm you will fail because you will fulfill the number of your days and God-given destiny on earth. God wants us to have victory over all the battles of life. Even if you face any struggle or your enemies threaten to swallow you up, be strong and courageous. Whatever battle you are currently fighting, be it financial, psychological, emotional, spiritual, academic, or your health, God is capable of giving you a resounding victory if only you put your trust in Him. Do not be afraid, lose heart, panic, or tremble in the face of your challenges, but contend and win with God, for God who is faithful will always give victory to His own. Refuse to be anxious about the situations of life. Just look up to Him in prayer, and He will fight for you until total victory is won. Trust in the Lord. Child of God, you may be facing a battle right now, but I decree that battle is over! Arise in victory by the weapon of faith, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let faith, not fear, drive you, and let faith cause you to run to the secret place and find rest, joy, peace, and victory. Remember, no one can battle with the Lord and win, and neither can any foe withstand the Almighty God! You are more than a conqueror!

O Lord, give me the grace to live above the cares, anxieties, and worries of this life; I receive my victory now in Jesus’ Name.
