Isaiah 45:2(KJV)
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
We understand from the Scriptures that divine guidance is one of the greatest assets in the Kingdom because it is the highway to our greatness. Surrendering to Divine guidance means total surrender to God and the absolute willingness to do what God says. It is surrendering our will to God and not following the many choices confronting us. The future is secure and significant when we allow God to lead and guide us in our endeavors. In other words, who we follow determines what follows us. Isaiah 42:16 says, “And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.” As God’s children, we can cling to our God, for He is a God who leads. He confidently leads us down paths we never imagined, functioning as a guide rather than a mere signpost at a juncture.
Acknowledging God as the Almighty, the only true One, undoubtedly qualifies a Christian life that operates in the miraculous. That is why it is of utmost importance to seek divine guidance to be partakers of the benefits therein. Divine guidance facilitates Divine Presence, giving us all-round rest and making us undefeatable. Numbers 9:18 says, “At the commandment of the Lord the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the Lord they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.” When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, they wholeheartedly relied on the guidance of the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, symbolizing God’s Presence. They moved and stopped by the direction of God’s guidance. Surrendering to Divine guidance is critical to opening doors. No door can close against a man who follows God. The guidance of God commits His Presence, which provides His resources, and He grants supernatural breakthroughs to the led. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Following the Shepherd is the guarantee for supernatural supplies. Supernatural breakthroughs always answer to divine guidance because when God leads, our enemies are silenced, we become unstoppable, and impossible doors open. The faithful God does not reject those who look to Him. He says in Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” While we remain on earth, we are vulnerable to challenges, temptations, and trials, but we can still enjoy divine presence and guidance when the God of Heaven leads us.
