2 Thessalonians 3:3(TLB)
But the Lord is faithful; he will make you strong and guard you from satanic attacks of every kind.
It is clear from Scriptures that the God we serve is still faithful, just and righteous. His covenant of faithfulness is the sure foundation on which all our faith securely rests. We serve a good and faithful God, Who has promised to work His good work in the lives of all His children and establish each one in every good work and word. He has promised to guard and protect us from every harm. In other words, He cannot go back on what He has said concerning us because He is dependable. It is written in Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.”
As children of God, we can depend on God’s faithfulness even when others are unfaithful. Though God may seem silent or even out of sight, He is never absent(Heb. 13:5). He is always working out things for our good. In fact, we do not need to understand what He is doing; we need only to know that He is always perfectly faithful. Apostle Paul assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 “But remember this—the wrong desires that come into your life aren’t anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it, for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation’s power so that you can bear up patiently against it.” When we go through the difficulties of life, always look to Him who is Invisible because He who promised is faithful. The Lord delights in rescuing us from the devil and his followers. Our God inspires us, even in moments when we least expect it. He has a way of bringing good out of every difficult circumstance in our lives. We can always look forward to His faithfulness for nothing is too hard for Him! We who trust in Christ will all experience ultimate deliverance from God because we have the lasting victory over the devil.
Beloved, the Lord is faithful and greater than satan and all his evil agents. He will not abandon you nor will He forsake you. He will strengthen and protect you from every attack from the enemy. I don’t know what the circumstances in your life are right now, or how fast you feel you’re falling. What I can tell you is that God is faithful and He won’t fail you. He is faithful to be with you, faithful to watch over you, faithful to work in you to make you who you are. He changes not and gives the Christian confidence that He will perform what He has promised. Today, hold fast in your faith and stand firm in the truth of the Gospel, because the days are evil. Be confident that you will see the goodness of God in your life for He alone can establish you. Remember this, no matter how long it takes, God’s promise to deliver and settle you will eventually come to pass.
O LORD, thank You for Your faithfulness, strengthen and empower me to resist the deceptive enticements of the evil one. Use me as an instrument of Your grace and keep me from all evil in Jesus’ Name.
