God’s Battle-ax and Sword.

Jeremiah 51:20(NLT)
You are my battle-ax and sword, says the Lord. With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms.
As a child of God, you are the artillery and armory of God. You are not just a person but a weapon God wants to use. It is a well-known fact that there is constant war between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. The kingdom of darkness always wants to counter the Kingdom of God. Know that our God is  a Warrior. Every warrior goes to battle with weapons of warfare trusted, effective and reliable. No warrior ever goes to battle without his weapons, no matter what it is; there must be something with which the warrior hopes to fight. When God says that you are His battle axe, He is saying you are His weapon of warfare. He intends to fight battles through you. Human beings, especially Spirit-filled children of God are weapons in the Hands of God. The battles of the Lord are fought with human weapons.
The greatest challenge of God is not the devil, but weapons to use in battles. Think about Moses when he was to go to Egypt to bring up the children of God. God told him, ‘I have made you a god unto Pharaoh(Exodus 7:1).This means that whatever God would have done by Himself to Pharaoh, He did through Moses. Moses became the battle axe for God. In the battle against the Philistines, David became the human weapon God used against Goliath(1 Samuel 17:32-50). It is pertinent, therefore, to look beyond yourself as a person and see yourself as a weapon involved in a multifaceted war for the Kingdom. As a child of God, your life is either winning or losing the battle. What is your testimony to your generation? What is your contribution to the victory of the Kingdom of God? The question is not about the title you bear but the mantle you carry because demons do not respond to title; they respond to mantle. Stop chasing titles as many are these days only to become tools and toys in the hands of the devil.
Beloved, it is time to rise and deploy yourself in the Hands of God against every force of darkness. As a believer be swift, sharp, strong and powerful because the devil is vigilant, he knows the Christians that are not useful and cannot function as razor blade, let alone being battle-axes, for the Lord. Be consistent in the study of the Word of God to equip yourself for battle. With the Word of God you can bring into captivity everything that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. Hebrews 4:12 says “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Today, live a life of absolute surrender to the Will of God and ask God to use you for His glory.
O LORD, I ask for supernatural strength to face the battles in my generation in Jesus’ Name.
