God’s Counsel Is Steadfast

Psalm 33:11 (KJV)

The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

In this scripture, we are assured that the counsel of the Lord is permanent and sure, and God’s plans are generational. It’s comforting to know that God’s plans are unchanging in our ever-changing world. Unlike human plans, which can change or fail, God’s plans are steadfast and eternal. His plans for us are crafted with infinite wisdom and love, standing firm through all generations. This can be deeply comforting, especially in times of uncertainty. It reassures us that God’s purpose and promises remain constant no matter the chaos or changes in our lives or the world, as we trust in God’s plans even when we can’t see the whole picture. It encourages us to lean on His wisdom and sovereignty, finding peace in knowing that His counsel stands forever. As we navigate our daily lives, we can draw strength from the knowledge that God’s plans for us are filled with love and purpose, spanning across all generations, for His plans are not constrained by time. What may seem delayed or challenging is part of His perfect timing. Proverbs 19:21 says, “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.”

The world we inhabit is fraught with malevolence orchestrated by the figure of the devil and his agents. Despite their ability to craft nefarious schemes and refine their wicked plots against the children of God, rest assured that their plans will not prosper nor come to fruition. We often formulate plans and establish objectives in our daily pursuits, hoping everything will unfold as anticipated. Our lives may face storms and upheavals, but God’s plans remain a constant foundation. Nothing occurs outside the purview of God’s sovereignty. He provides a rock-solid assurance that His purposes for us are unchanging and filled with love. God maintains control, even in the face of our plans going awry or unanticipated adversities arising. Trusting in His eternal perspective helps us find peace amid uncertainty, for we are all born for a purpose; we are not here by accident but to fulfill a God-given destiny. Isaiah 46:10 says, “Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure.” When we acknowledge that God knows the end from the beginning, we can rest assured that His plans for us are good. It does not matter what anybody will do or say; no one can say no if God says yes.

Beloved, only the counsel of the Lord shall stand in your life and that of your loved ones. God has the final say, not any man, woman, or the agents of the devil. Only accept and believe what He says about you. It does not matter what negative things are said about you; as long as God is not the One who said them, everything is under control. No matter what they have schemed against you, if God hasn’t ordained it, don’t accept it because you have no issues to face. It is only confirmed if you believe the negative opinions, if not, they will never come to pass. Just believe what God has said and is saying about your life and not what comes out of agents of the devil. You will succeed and excel contrary to any negative pronouncement or plan over your life in the Name of Jesus! Today, discard people’s negative opinions or plans about your life and believe only what God says about you in His Word. Do not allow yourself to be swayed, distracted, or discouraged by people’s negative opinions, plans, imaginations, conspiracies, schemes, or orchestrations about you.
