Isaiah 14:24(KJV)
The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand.
It is clear from the Scriptures that the Lord our God is a God of plan and purpose. We are products of His divine purpose. Everything on earth moves toward the predetermined end of God’s eternal purpose with absolute, precise accuracy. Whether we believe it or not, everything and everyone created by God has a plan and purpose because He pays significant attention to detail very carefully and precisely. He does not do anything without first planning for it. Jeremiah 1:4-5 says, “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” So, God has a general plan into which His specific plan for our lives fits. He created us uniquely, and we are one of a kind. Although the devil and his agents may have plans for us, the purpose or counsel of God is superior to any other plan, purpose, or counsel. God’s Word, Plan, or Counsel for our lives will never fail.
The truth is, the purpose of God for our lives is heavier than any man, woman, witch, or wizard has said or purposed in their hearts. The purpose of God is more potent than any weapon of war, be it physical or spiritual. The Bible says in Isaiah 46:10, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” It does not matter what anybody will do or say; if God says yes, no one can say no. It is what God has ordained that shall stand. His purpose is not defeatable. None can alter the plan of God. It does not matter the wishes of people or what the devil has calculated against our lives or loved ones; it is what God has planned and designed concerning us that shall stand. When we see what feels like confusing and unbeatable challenges, rest assured in God’s sovereign plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 gives us this personal encouragement, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Let us not get too preoccupied with the happenings around us, for no force on earth can cancel the purpose of God. God is the Sovereign Ruler of all things and the Controller of every second of every day, and His plan and purpose will triumph despite arrogant human schemes and systems. There is not anyone or anything that can keep us from getting what He has already declared in eternity.
Beloved, only the purpose of the Lord shall stand in your life and that of your loved ones. God has the final say, not any man, woman, or the agents of the devil or the devil himself. Only accept and believe what God says about you. It does not matter the negative things people are saying about you; as long as God is not the One who uttered them, everything is under control. It does not matter what they have planned against you; if God did not masterplan them, you have no problem. It is only confirmed if you believe their plans and negative opinions; if not, it will never come to pass. Just trust what God has said about your life and not what comes from the enemy. It may seem like you’re far behind, but remind yourself that God holds your future in the palm of His hand, and He already knows the outcome, for He never ends in defeat. You will succeed and excel contrary to any negative pronouncement or plan over your life in the Name of Jesus! Today, discard the negative opinions or plans about your life from the enemy and believe what God says about you in His Word. Do not allow yourself to be swayed, distracted, or discouraged by people’s negative opinions, plans, imaginations, conspiracies, schemes, or orchestrations about you. Our God and Father have a plan for your life that will not be thwarted by anything or anybody. You can rest in His faithfulness to fulfill His purpose for your life simply because He loves you and is always with you. Locate the purpose of the Lord concerning your life by studying the Word of God. In the face of the worst tragedy or disaster, remember that God has a sovereign plan for your life. He knows how it’ll end, and it ends in peace, joy, and victory in every area of your life!
O Lord, thank You for Your purpose for my life. I reject every plan and purpose of the enemy contrary to Your Word in Jesus’ Name.
