Ezekiel 12:28 (KJV)
Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
Our anchored Scripture highlights God’s supreme authority and the unwavering fulfillment of His promises. Just as the sunrise is inevitable, so are God’s assurances, reminding us of His sovereign power and unyielding commitment to His Word. When He declares something, it will undoubtedly come to pass without delay. His Words are true, and His promises are infallible. His declarations are definitive, and they will be fulfilled without delay. He is not a man to lie! The Word of God is the key to getting us everything we need in the kingdom. This is our great hope: when God speaks, we can depend upon His Word. We can lay hold on His Promises because His Word is yea and amen. We have the assurance that His Word will come to pass in our lives. As it is written in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” The revealed Word of God shall accomplish and prosper in our lives.
Life undoubtedly presents formidable challenges that test our confidence and faith. It’s natural to question God’s plan and timing during these times, especially when we perceive delays in His actions. However, it is essential to recognize that, despite our doubts, God’s timing is always perfect. We may feel impatient or uncertain about His intentions, yet we can rest assured that His promises will come to fruition. The certainty of God’s word is as reliable as the dawn, and we can embrace this truth with unwavering trust. Psalm 31:15 says, “My times are in thy hand: d…..” God’s timing is impeccable—neither early nor late. It operates on a different plane than our own understanding of time. While we may perceive periods of waiting as long and frustrating, this experience is intentional and serves a crucial purpose. These moments challenge us to deepen our faith as we learn to depend on Him entirely. Ultimately, this divine timing ensures that all glory and honor are directed to God alone for the victories we achieve. Embracing this truth transforms our waiting into a powerful testament to His sovereignty. When God told Prophet Elijah that He would send rain upon the earth (1 Kings 18:1). Elijah did not just fold his arms but went into a severe prayer session to actualize God’s Word (1 Kings 18:41-45). He decided to put his faith into action through fervent prayers. He was not tempted to leave God to fulfill His Promise. He continued to watch and pray; finally, there was plentiful rain.
Beloved, God is the Alpha and Omega who knows the end from the beginning and has the power to do everything. It is not in His Character to abandon a project. He has promised that He will not leave or forsake you, so you can be sure He is not done with you yet. God is always on time and never late. His plan is faultless. He responds to requests and pleas in His own time and manner. He never misses a chance to hear your prayers or shower you with His gifts because only He fully understands what you need, whenever you need it, and the best way to provide it for you. No matter what may be happening in any area of your life, believe and act on God’s Word concerning it. Even when you can’t see it, God is working things out. He’s got perfect timing. Keep faith, stay patient, and trust in His promises. It will be fulfilled, and your joy will be complete. In due season, all His promises will be accomplished, and then you will acknowledge that the Lord has exceeded your largest expectations and made you more than a conqueror. Today, embrace this assurance that God’s words will no longer be delayed and let it strengthen your faith. Remember, God’s word is sure and will be fulfilled without delay.
O Lord, let Your Will be done by bringing into fulfillment Your Word for my life in Jesus’ Name.
