It Is A Good……

Psalm 92:1(KJV)

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

Thanksgiving is an attitude of appreciation and gratitude to God for all things. It is the master password to gaining entrance into His Gate(Psalm 100:4). Thanksgiving and praise qualify us to carry Divine Presence and that is all we need to have a triumphant ride in life. Thanksgiving envelopes us in God and always makes the devil crazy because we become untouchable, not killable and indestructible. Thanksgiving is one of the major secrets of life. It is an exciting way to live. A life of thanksgiving is a life of ease and tasteful experience. It adds color to our Christian experience and flavor to our Christian nature, as everything around us begins to respond positively. When we become addicted to thanksgiving, destiny opens up to us on its own accord.

For everything that must multiply and increase in our lives, God must be gratefully acknowledged. Jesus knew this spiritual technique and used it often during His earthly ministry. Anything we do not thank God for never increases. The Bible says in Jeremiah 30:19 “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.” It is time for us to increase in every area of our lives and it will take genuine thanksgiving. Thanksgiving as a lifestyle will establish us in a ceaseless flow of signs and wonders. When we give thanks for what God did yesterday, we will compel Him to act today. In that unseemly unpleasant situation, learn to give thanks to the Lord for with Him all things are possible and all things work together for our good. Let the woman who is worrying about not being able to bear children praise God for marriage. Let him/her that is worrying over what to eat and drink, praise God that he/she even has an appetite and ability to eat. Let the ones worrying about life thank God for the gift of life. There is always something to be thankful for.

Beloved, it is good to thank and praise the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. As you thank the Almighty God today, may the resurrection power of God that brought Lazarus out of death when Jesus stood at his tomb and gave thanks to the Father, bring back everything that seems dead in your life. When you give God what He cannot do for Himself, He does for you what you cannot do for yourself. He will comfort you, make your wilderness like Eden and your desert like His Garden full of joy and gladness. Develop the heart of thanksgiving and praise, and the presence of the Lord will never depart from you. Remember, it was thanksgiving that brought Lazarus out of his grave (John 11:41-44). If you want to come out of that grave of poverty, barrenness, stagnation, sickness, lack and want, fill your heart and mouth with thanks and praises to God.

O LORD, thank You for Your Word, help me to be thankful and praiseful for all things and at all times in Jesus’ Name.
