Know The Truth

John 8:32(ESV)

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

It is clear from the Scriptures that the truth we know shall make us free from every form of bondage in our lives. The truth we know determines the freedom we attain; it is the revelation that sponsors liberation while ignorance fuels bondage. In other words, it is the truth we know that makes us free. So, freedom or triumph is tied to the truth. There can be no triumph in life without sincerity. The revelation of the Word is our guarantee for victory. When we put on the truth, we disarm our enemies as if nothing existed before. For anywhere truth is present, the Spirit of God is present because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and where the Spirit of God is victory is sure. Thus, walking in the truth of the Word empowers us to always triumph over darkness. We also understand that knowledge, whether right or wrong, is one of the most powerful forces on earth. The difference is that the wrong knowledge destroys while the correct knowledge stabilizes, strengthens, and delivers.

Knowing God will always make a difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary. Similarly, knowing Him guarantees our freedom, for freedom comes to those who are able to see the truth in God’s Word. That is, all truth is centered on Jesus! Jesus is the Only Way to salvation and the truth that sets us free, but the devil (father of all liars according to John 8:44) keeps us in bondage. When the knowledge of this truth is not in place, people suffer untold hardship. However, when we are in Christ and know our rights and privileges in the Kingdom, by choosing to stand on God’s Word to activate His Promises, we always experience victory. The truth is, He is Lord, and He changes not; therefore, we are alive. Another gospel truth is God is not a man that He should lie. So, He will fulfill all His promises concerning our lives. God says in Psalm 89:34, “I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips.” The truth is that we serve a God who remains constant and unchanging; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. By His Stripes, we are healed and can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. The truth is that those that know their God shall be strong and do exploits, and God blesses those who serve Him faithfully(Psalm 1:1-3, Matt 6:33).

Beloved, be determined to press for the revelation of the Word to experience a total transformation of your life. Crave for the knowledge of God’s Word because what you know determines what you can show. Search the Scriptures and use the truth as weapons that will guarantee your freedom in any area of your life. Confront every power opposing you today in the Name of Jesus. Attract the Spirit of truth into your life by living in the truth. Let the truth of God’s Word transform your life, discarding any knowledge that contradicts God and His Word. Embrace Jesus! Embrace His Word and live in the reality of who you are in Christ. Aggressively resist whatever wants to deny you freedom because the loss of freedom is the reason for captivity. Remember that the Word of Truth(also the Word of God) is God Himself (John 1:1), and He can’t deny Himself.

O Lord, let every form of bondage around my life be terminated and destroyed by the Power of Truth in Your Word in Jesus’ Name.
