Living In His Glory

Isaiah 43:7 (KJV)

Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

We serve a glorious God who created us in His image to exist a magnificent life. God is declaring a profound truth about our identity and purpose. We are created by Him, called by His Name, and destined to bring Him glory. God created man and crowned him with glory, calling us by His Name. Any name ascribed to God is for us, His children, and His Glory. In other words, our lives are for the glory of God and His pleasure. That is a great revelation, and it is essential that the body of Christ. It is not for us to get puffed up with pride but for the very name of God, which we are called by, to be glorified. Psalm 8:4-5 says, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” God has not only created us but has also placed us in a position of honor, just a little lower than the angels. God created us to embody greatness; we are inherently crowned with glory and honor.

In God’s magnificent plan, He designed us to be united with His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, empowering us to actively engage in the same good works that Jesus accomplished on earth. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Our lives are the masterpieces of a loving Father who planned our existence before the foundation of the world. In Christ Jesus, our spirits are now made alive through the power of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us. The quality of work that God performed in recreating us in Christ Jesus is perfect and excellent and cannot be outdone by any other. So, we are not permitted to carry Christ in us and live in shame. We are not allowed to be connected to Christ and swallowed up in derision. God has called us to virtue and glory, not reproach and ridicule. Therefore, the old nature subject to sin, defeat, sickness, failure, and death is dead and gone! As beings created in God’s image and crowned with honor, we are responsible for reflecting His glory. This means living in a way that honors Him, showing love, justice, and mercy to those around us. We are not accidents or random beings; we are intentionally formed and made by God with a purpose.

Beloved, be comfortable with the knowledge that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, made in the image of God, and ordained to do the good works for the glory of God. You are to dominate creation, so accept your identity and reality in Christ, for He’s called you holy, righteous, prosperous, victorious, and more than a conqueror. God’s creative, artistic, and intelligent genius went into your making. You are His masterpiece and unique to Him. He has made you something not only productive and effective but beautiful. Despite the vastness of the universe, God is mindful of you. He thinks about you, cares for you, and is intimately involved in your life. This realization should fill you with gratitude and humility. Today, walk in agreement with God, with His description and perception of you, for I am confident that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. So, decide to excel in whatever you do so you can exist as a great and influential personality to the glory of God. Remember, no matter the challenges you face or the struggles you endure, this truth remains: you are precious to God and honored in His sight.

O Lord, I ask for the complete manifestation of Your glory in my life. Let Your Glory swallow every opposing thing in my life and destiny in Jesus’ Name.
