No More Reproach

Joshua 5:9(KJV)
And the Lord said unto Joshua, this day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.
A reproach is a situation which causes shame, disgrace, mockery, disfavor, rejection and sorrow. Know the power of this Scripture from our text today. God speaking to Joshua said I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you. Hallelujah!!!! When God glorifies Himself in perfecting the salvation of His people, He does not only silence all enemies, but rolls back their shame and reproach as well. It is written in Jeremiah 29:14 “I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” God promises His people through the prophecy of Jeremiah that Judah’s captivity would come to an end and restore their fortunes. At the end of every reproach, God restores our fortunes.
The Israelites, God’s people, had come up out of Egypt, yet in their hearts they still had the shame of living in Egypt and serving Pharaoh. Some were still thinking God disapproved of them because of their time in Egypt. Many of them thought of their past circumstances and blame themselves. They held themselves back with thoughts of personal failure. Like the Israelites, satan is doing all he can to turn our glory into shame and reproach. Many have turned their glorious future into shame and reproach by engaging in sinful acts. David experienced shame and reproach when he committed adultery with Bathsheba, however, He went before God in repentance and God restored his glory. As believers, certain mindsets can hold us back from bringing down the walls of Jericho, and from truly moving into and onto greater victories. But that will not be our portion in Jesus’ Name. In Christ, we are created for glory.
Beloved, your days of reproach are over. In other words, no more shame, no more disgrace, and no more defeat for you again forever, in your shame you shall have double. Ignore your setbacks and focus on your purpose of existence. Understand therefore, that every time God rolls away the reproach, it is to establish the fulfilment of His Awesome Promise that guarantees all round rest. Your enemies are delivered into your hand. Let God roll Egypt out of your life so that all your desire is toward Him. Let His strength fills your heart, and let His courage cause you be as bold a Lion. It is your time of joy, no more disappointment, no more failure for you again; your time of fulfilment has come. Today, as you dwell in the sanctuary of God, you shall not be a victim of ugliness, shame or reproach because strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. NO MORE REPROACH IN YOUR LIFE. By God’s Divine Power every garment of reproach in your life is destroyed now. The Blood of Jesus shall wipe away every mark of shame and reproach in your life in Jesus’ Name.
O LORD, roll away every reproach around my life and let Your Glory radiate around me in Jesus’ Name.
