Not One of His Word Will Fail

1 Kings 8:56(KJV)

Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

We discover from Scriptures that God’s Promises are true and will never fail because God is not a man that He should lie. He cannot change nor fail. Solomon had the privilege of building the house of God because God fulfilled the promise, He gave his father David through Prophet Nathan. David had wanted to build a temple to honor the Lord, but God told him to wait and allow Solomon to build the temple instead. The Lord promised that Solomon would sit on the throne of Israel, and build Him a temple. And since God delivered on this Word, Solomon acknowledged that it was in fulfilment of God’s Promise. God in fulfilling His Promise to Solomon also gave rest on every side. So, we have rest when God fulfills His Promises in our lives.

It is clear that our God is a promise-keeping God. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, faithful to His Promises and committed to His Covenant. His Promises are assured by Divine ability. In other words, there is nothing that is impossible for Him. That should give us an assurance that whatever He has promised us, He is capable of fulfilling. The Bible says in Romans 4:21 that Abraham was blessed by God because He was fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able to perform. God’s Promises are all about His Glory and our salvation. This means, the promises must lead to God’s agenda in accordance with His Will not ours. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” That is, no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. Together with Christ, He will fulfill every single one of His great plans and promises for our lives. He has promised to prosper and bless the work of our hands, to supply all our needs, to rebuke the devourer for us and grant us peace and tranquility. In essence, through God, we can have life in abundance with no lack, no loss and no limitations.

Beloved, the promises of God for your life are guaranteed. God cannot break His Word or Promise because both His Word and Promise are unchangeable. As God gave rest to Israel, He is also giving you rest on each side today and will fulfil every single promise spoken over your life. You may not understand His ways at times, but He is always true to His Word. Trust Him to do it for you for trust is a huge part of the foundation of our faith. If you struggle to trust Him, you will struggle to believe what He says is true. Don’t abort your miracle by saying the wrong words. Hold firmly to your confession for God does not play with whatever He says neither does He joke with whatever He has promised. Stay in the secret place of the Almighty to see your desired result. Walk with the assurance that every promise that He has made will come to pass because He is faithful and dependable to do all that He has said that He will do. He will keep all His promises concerning your life, not one word will fail and your joy will be full. You will not serve God without a testimony. Every promise concerning your life this year will be fulfilled before the end of the year in Jesus’ Name. In conclusion, God’s Promises will never fail, but your unbelief is what prevents its fulfillment in your life, if God says He will give you something, hold Him by that promise until He fulfills it. Remember, what God cannot give you, you don’t need it and doesn’t exist.

O Lord, thank You for Your Word and for keeping Your Promises always in Jesus’ Name.
