Psalm 150:6 (KJV)
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Our above Scripture is a powerful call to worship and praise God. All creation, every living being, has a reason to honor and glorify the Creator. It encourages us to take moments in our daily lives to recognize the goodness of God and express our gratitude through praise. We are undeniably created to praise God for the incredible gift of life. Every living mortal soul owes God the unfinished debt of praise. The debt of praise is an eternal commitment, as even in the bliss of Heaven, the chorus of praise resonates forever. God created us primarily to show forth His praise on earth. Isaiah 43:21 says, “This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.” To praise God is to fulfill the reason we are living on earth. We cannot live well until we praise our Creator. When we commit to praising the Lord, we are assured of receiving the breath of life from God. Our praise of God is evidence of our salvation. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praise of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” When we praise God, we decisively terminate the enemy’s agenda and firmly establish God’s Will in our lives.
Praise is a powerful spiritual exercise that forges a profound connection between humanity and the wonders of God, yielding remarkable and transformative outcomes. When we engage in praise, we wield supernatural victory in our battles. Anyone who dares to seek us out in this state is on a fool’s errand. Through genuine praise, we unlock divine opportunities and witness closed doors swing wide open in our lives. This vibrant expression of joy in the Lord is essential for divine health and vitality. Furthermore, praise serves as a formidable weapon of vengeance and judgment against any adversary. The praise of God in our mouths will always become the sword of vengeance in our hands to punish the enemy. It is evident that until we release the praise meant for Him to God, the earth does not release the portion meant for us. Our response to God in praise determines the Earth’s response to us in supplies. It is written in Psalm 89:15, “Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, Lord.” Praise causes us to walk in the light of God’s countenance, provoking the Glory of God to manifest in our lives.
