John 14:13-14 (KJV)
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
There is no doubt that God answers prayers. The power of prayer is a well-established phenomenon, and it becomes even more potent when directed through the Name of Jesus. When we invoke the Name of Jesus in our prayers, we essentially tap into the divine authority and attributes associated with Him. This means that our requests are not only heard but also answered promptly and effectively by God. The Name of Jesus is a conduit through which we can access God’s provisions and blessings. It symbolizes the entirety of Jesus’ identity and significance, and by praying in His Name, we align our requests with the will and purpose of God. By doing so, we honor and glorify both the Father and the Son, and in return, we can expect our prayers to be answered by all that Jesus embodies. The Holy Spirit helps us pray as we ought to, and the Name of Jesus guarantees the answer! In other words, the Name of Jesus is God’s password for answered prayers. When we put the Name of Jesus to work, things yield to our request. At the mention of the Name of Jesus, there is a release of immeasurable miracles. The Name of Jesus is the only medium of communication with the Father. As children of God, committing the Name of Jesus to action will cause us to enjoy boundless riches. The angels of God move in our favor when we pray in the Name of Jesus.
The Name of Jesus carries supreme authority and unlimited power. This power is so potent and active that there is no limitation to what we can achieve through applying the Name. At the mention of the Name of Jesus, irrespective of the situation, challenges, or everything under the sun bows. Philippians 2:10-11 says, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Jesus is the door to every breakthrough in life. Sinners come to the Father through Him; He is the door to wealth, health, and well-being. The Name of Jesus is the door to protection from all the evils and troubles of life. The Name of Jesus is the door to every rest because He said in Matthew 11:28, still saying, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” When we pray in the Name of Jesus, we find peace, and He guides us in the way of peace.
Beloved, you have the greatest blessing and gift of all times: the Name of Jesus. There is no other authority by which you receive answers to your prayers except through Jesus Christ. Speaking in His Name carries the same power and authority as though Jesus Himself was the one speaking. His Name has power everywhere. So, use the Name, and principalities and powers will bow. Praying in the Name of Jesus will deliver you from any sickness, infirmity, or problem. Cancers and diabetes disappear at the mention of the Name of Jesus. The blind receive their sight through the Name. No matter what you face today, the way, truth, and solutions are in the Name of Jesus Christ. He is all in all. Come boldly expecting to have your requests granted, not because you’re worthy, but because Jesus is! Today, hand your cares and worries over to God in the Name of Jesus, and you will experience a world of peace. For the Name of Jesus to work for you, you must surrender to the lordship of Jesus.
O LORD, thank You for Your Word to me; to You be all the Glory. Today, give me godly wisdom not to pray amiss in the Name of Jesus.
