Pray In The Holy Ghost

Jude 1:20(KJV)

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Prayer is the lifeblood of a Christian’s walk with God. Prayer connects us to God. In other words, prayer is two-way communication between the believer and our Father in Heaven, the Almighty God. Prayer is not a religious activity but a fellowship with the Lord where we talk to and with Him. Prayer must fasten all the other parts of our Christian armor, and it also gives us a permanent stand with God. Jude urges us to pray in the Holy Ghost to build our faith. We also understand from Scriptures that the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and weaknesses at the place of prayer, for we do not know what and how to pray as we should(Romans 8:26). So, the Holy Spirit is the spring of all desires toward God, often more than words can utter. The Holy Spirit, who also searches the hearts, can perceive the mind and will of the Spirit and intercedes on our behalf. In other words, the indwelling of the Holy Ghost empowers us for exploits. Thus, the Holy Ghost is responsible for miracles, signs, and wonders. Hence, if we want our faith to birth signs and wonders, we must pray in the Spirit often.

Praying in the Holy Ghost is the only way Christians can solidify their foundation in God. When we pray in the Holy Ghost, the Bible makes us understand we speak not to men but God; we speak mysteries by the power of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches what we are to pray for and how. Demonstrating our daily dependence on God through praying in the Holy Spirit is essential. It is principal to note that praying in the Spirit plays a vital role in our quest to access more of God’s Glory. It is a ladder we can climb to enter into God’s Presence. The more we pray in the Spirit, the more of His Presence we will encounter, leading us into more of His Glory. Praying in the Holy Ghost is the sure answer and the ultimate solution to all problems and challenges of life. Ephesians 6:18 says, “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” Praying in the Spirit gives us strength and courage for our spiritual warfare and sufferings. Therefore, pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. It is a mighty weapon for Christians to dislodge any satanic power. Praying in the Holy Spirit helps us get access to the higher realms of revelation and also the mystery of God(1 Corinthians 14:2). We enjoy angelic visitations consistently.

Beloved, pray consistently in the Holy Spirit, your faith will grow in God, and you will experience the supernatural. Praying in the Spirit will not make us ask amiss. So, in your Christian journey, always pray in the Holy Ghost. In that process, you are building up yourself into an impenetrable spiritual edifice that is immovable. From today, start your day speaking in tongues. Take charge of your day, even before you step out, form the habit of speaking in tongues for at least one hour. Saturate your mind with the Word of God and pray endlessly in the Spirit, and your life will advance to enjoy the ever-increasing glory of God. As you continue to pray in the Spirit, the Good Shepherd will direct your path and keep you in His Mercy, Strength, and Love. Receive a fresh grace and baptism of praying in the Spirit in Jesus’ Name. If you are not speaking in tongues, receive the anointing to speak now. Holy Ghost fire, fall on me, in the Name of Jesus. Remember, praying in the Holy Spirit builds your faith, gives you a permanent stand with God, and makes you anointed beyond measure.

O Lord, help me intensify my prayer life by praying in the Spirit in Jesus’ Name.
