Pray in the Name of Jesus!

John 16:24(KJV)
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
In today’s anchor Scripture, Jesus says we should ask in His Name until our joy is full. The Scripture shows us the master key Jesus gave His disciples by teaching them that prayer must be in His Name to be answered. The importance of prayer cannot be overemphasized when we consider what those who take time to pray gain. Prayer is the means God has provided for Christians to have all of their needs satisfied. For this reason, God did not place any limitation on prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing. Prayer symbolizes trust and total dependence on God. Prayer equally provides details about future events. No wonder the Bible in Jeremiah 33:3 says “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
It was in the place of prayer that the birth of John was foretold. It was also in the midst of prayer that God’s plan and purpose for John was disclosed. If you want God to reveal your tomorrow to you, PRAY FOR YOUR JOY TO BE FULL. If you do not want to be kept in the dark concerning fundamental issues of your life, pray until something happens. At Peniel, Jacob prayed until he was granted victory and his name was changed. The prayer of Elijah that brought about the rain was not just a five-minute prayer. He prayed and prayed again until something happened. Hannah prayed until something happened in her life and so did Jabez. Daniel prayed until Angel Michael brought him the answer(Daniel 10:12-13). We must begin to pray until the attention of God is drawn to our petition. Matthew 7:7-8 says “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” There is an urgent call to prayer today for all and sundry. Very soon, you shall hear the good news that will transform your life.
Beloved, praying in the Name of Jesus is the master key that opens all locked doors. Pray like you have never prayed before, asking God to accomplish His will concerning whatever situation you are currently in. You need to engage your prayer gear, and good news will locate you. As you pray today, ask God to give you insight into your future. Call on the Lord now while He may be found for it is well with you. Henceforth, as you go to God in prayer regarding that issue, fullness of joy will be your portion in Jesus’ Name! Whatever is tampering with your joy comes to an end now! From the altar of prayers, God will supernaturally alter everything in your favor in the Name above all other names. This season, your prayer will work for you in Jesus’ Name!!! Remember to Pray Until Something Happens.
O Lord, as I pray, let Your Holy Spirit help me to ask according to Your Will in Jesus’ Name.
