Repent!

Acts 3:19 (KJV)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
In spite of the demonstration of the Power of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders, the apostles did not mince words in declaring Heaven’s demand for God’s children to repent. It is sad, however, that many modern-day preachers have deleted the message of change from their sermons because they would not want to be “offensive” to modern minds. What they forget is the message of change brings repentance, and repentance brings times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Ezekiel 18:32 says “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!” As today happens to be the last day of the year, looking toward 2020 God wants all His children to Repent and Live. He does not take delight in the death of anyone.
Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand! Let’s serve God well in the coming year and our lives will never be the same. Do not crossover to 2020 with the same baggage you had this year. DON’T ENTER 2020 WITH YOUR SINS INTACT for God will judge each one of us according to his ways therefore repent for He takes pleasure in the return of a sinner. God is opening the door of Salvation to all His children and all you need to do is to enter and live. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God through His Son has extended an open invitation to all humanity to come to Him for eternal life. Jesus said “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Be part of this abundant life Jesus promised us in 2020! Your commitment to God in 2020 will determine your fulfilment both in this time and in eternity. God is merciful to forgive you all your sins, so let us cleanse our hands and purify our hearts, surrendering our lives to Jesus. My dear friend, God loves you and Jesus loves you!
Beloved, if you are reading this and want to give your life to Jesus Christ or want to ask God for forgiveness of sin, pray this prayer for tomorrow may be too late! “Lord Jesus, I come before You today to make my way right with You, help me Lord to fulfil Your will. Forgive me for my sins and make me a new person. Today I have decided to follow You Lord Jesus, no turning back, forward ever.” Remember, genuine repentance brings a time of refreshing from the presence of God Almighty. It brings unspeakable joy full of glory and restores you back to your former position.
I pray that the hold of sin is broken off you and the Grace to live for God is proclaim on you in Jesus Name.
