Seek God And Live

Amos 5:4(KJV)

For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

In our anchored Scripture, the Lord admonishes us to seek Him diligently, and we shall live. The key to a supernatural and glorious life is seeking God; all things are possible with Him. Seeking God is the surest and quickest way to receive His Power, Authority, Anointing, and Grace. When we seek God, we will live, and our enemies will become His enemies, bowing to His Presence and Power evident in our lives. His Spirit will overshadow us and do incredible things through us. God is eager to grant our heart desires, but we must seek His righteousness first (Matthew 6:33). Seeking God answers everything. As Christians, we must have a seeking heart, run the good race of faith to the end, and make Heaven. A Seeking Heart always tries to find God’s Will in all situations. It always pleases the Lord to search His Word daily and seeks to live His Way. David said in Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”

One significant proof of seeking God is our undivided passion for Him. It is that unquenchable hunger or thirst that cannot be conquered. Seeking the Lord is living intentionally with our dependence on Him by being open to His Guidance, Wisdom, and Strength. Seeking God is to have an intimate personal relationship with Him. It is to focus our affection on Him with absolute determination. Looking at the world and its issues, it is also important to remind ourselves that the ‘End Time’ is near, and this is the time Christians should wake up from slumber, discarding anything; people, choices, places, lifestyles, affiliations, attitudes, sin, and the list goes on, that God will frown at. Many do not consider God worthy of their sacrifice of holiness, and such people will miss the rewards of righteousness. Indulging in worldly pleasures, pursuits, and accolades cannot discover the true essence of life. Instead, it can be found by seeking the divine presence of God. When God allows certain odd circumstances, severe and trial phases in our life, there is an assurance that God is right there in the midst of it with us and for us because He will never take us where His Grace will not show up!

Beloved, seek the Lord, and live. No matter what you are doing or where you are, seek the Lord, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, with your whole heart. In doing this, you engage in the most relevant activity that transforms life in all areas. I encourage you to keep up the good fight and endure. Draw near God daily by practicing personal prayer and studying His Word. Seek God and not man! LOOK UP TO GOD and allow Him to breathe His life into you. Seek Him in all things; you will find His abundant life, and everything you set your hand to will prosper. Make up your mind to seek and pursue God. Turn your attention and your affections toward God continually, and live. It is good to occasionally examine your heart and ensure that you haven’t allowed anything or anyone to take the place that belongs only to God. God wants His children to seek Him faithfully and live. He wants your relationships to be vibrant and alive. God is the source of all life; when you seek Him, you will find Him, and the result will be everlasting life.

O LORD, I humbly come before You, giving You all I am. I ask for Your Hand of blessing and guidance in everything I do in Jesus’ Name.
