1 Chronicles 16:11(KJV)
Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
Our anchored Scripture admonishes us to seek the face of God and His Strength continually. Seeking the face of the Lord is enjoying the sweet fragrance of His presence that is always with us. Being diligent in our commitment in seeking the LORD gives us the strength to overcome adversity. When king Jehoshaphat heard that a huge army was amassing to attack Judah, he knew what to do. He needed to set himself to seek not the advice of the people, but to seek God and hear directly from Him. Jehoshaphat knew that unless he heard from God, he was not going to make it. He knew it was vital and essential to his life and the survival of his people. In other words, he knew that until he sought the LORD with relentless tenacity, there was no way he was going to make it through that attack.
In life, we are always met head on with many challenges that attempt to slow us down and even cripple us. However, many of our concerns are best addressed by reminding ourselves of who God is and what He has done. By simply refocusing, we find comfort in Him knowing that He is loving, forgiving, sovereign, graceful. He is our confidence to boldly turn to in spite of the hurdles, hardships, and hindrances. When we turn our eyes toward the beautiful Face of God, we can find strength and comfort that sustain us even in the midst of unanswered questions. In Matthew 13:45-46 Jesus said “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.” Certain things are worth going to great lengths to find. That is, when we seek for something, we usually leave every other thing we are doing until we find that which we seek. Likewise, we must always look to God, not to methods, formulas, or ways that have worked in the past. Our focus, our source of strength and supply, must be God and God alone. As we stay determined and persistent, we will reach the point where we will understand more of God’s Word, as we enjoy our relationship with Him, hearing His Voice more and more. It has now become a norm where many believers seek God halfheartedly, or to seek His Hand and Blessings, forgetting that it is written in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” We can be grateful, knowing that when we seek Him and His righteousness, we will find Him and all other things will be added to our lives.

In doing this, you are engaging in the most important activity that transforms life in all areas. Draw nigh with a true heart and call upon Him in truth and He will grant you His Presence, favor you with fresh supplies of His Grace, and everything needful for your life. Today, as you seek God with all your heart, He will visit your situation with His Fire in the mighty Name of Jesus.
