Show Sincerity in All

Titus 2:7(KJV)
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
It has been established that the lifestyle of insincerity is a deadly enemy of destiny. It is one of the greatest reasons behind the downfall of many believers today. Loving God is not just by words, it must reflect in all that we do and in our approach to life. The moment we are saved, we should no longer walk as those who are heading for eternal damnation. The word of God must be obeyed in its entirety. Our acts should challenge us to share our faith through our actions. Little acts of thoughtfulness, kindness, or forgiveness will glorify God. As Paul put it simply, “Show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.”
Some people claim to love God, but the kind of fruit they manifest makes people question the genuineness of their salvation. You claim to be a Christian yet you drink alcohol, lie, gossip, cheat and hurt people every chance you get. You claim to be delivered yet you still dabble in those things that had you addicted. There are believers today who cherry-pick the aspects of the Bible they want to obey. This should not be so! After we are saved, it is expected of us to immediately renounce all the hidden things of dishonesty.
Today, there are many ministers of the gospel who have abandoned the true gospel for a social message. They believe that people are not interested in hearing the truth. This is false! Some believe that if they preach the true gospel to people, they will find it very hard and most will turn away, hence they water down their messages. Such ministers need to learn from Jesus (John 6:60-67). If Samson had been sincere with himself, he would not have died a miserable death. Many people have lost their position in life because of insincerity, so don’t be like them and also lose it because .God wants to take you far in life. One lie or denial can destroy a beautiful relationship.
Beloved, when Christianity lacks character there is nothing more to it. True character begins with Jesus Christ. We cannot afford to be careless in our Christian walk, because we have an adversary the roaring lion looking for someone to devour. To be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, we must be sincere with ourselves. Do not struggle to create impressions, struggle to give expression to what God has put inside you. Never sleep over any insincere act because no one knows when Jesus will come. Our positive actions toward others should show the world that we are able to live differently because of the Holy Spirit’s work in us.
O Lord, grant me the grace to sincerely deal with every weakness in my life in Jesus’ Name.
