1 John 2:27(KJV)
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
As stated in our memory verse, the anointing speaks to or teaches the anointed, providing them with Divine information. If we have the anointing, it will speak to us and tell us all truths. The more the anointing on our lives, the more we will have access to Divine information. As we become more aware of the Spirit of God in our everyday affairs, we will be quicker to hear and obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit. The Anointing which is also the Spirit of Truth reveals the Will of God to us and creates the opportunity for us to be entrusted with God’s Inheritance.
The Anointing should occupy a prominent place in the life of every child of God because several benefits are attached to it. God’s Anointing (His Presence and Power) abides permanently in those who obey and do His Will. With the Anointing abiding in us, we are shielded from seducing and lying spirits. We are properly groomed into all godliness without having to struggle on our own. Amos 3:7 says “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” The Anointing makes God share His secrets with His anointed. When you know what will happen in the future, you will be guided on how to handle your today and tomorrow. May the Lord anoint you afresh and open to you the door of communication, granting you access to knowledge of events long before they happen.
Beloved, the higher your anointing, the more you have access to Divine information and depth in God. Today, depend on the Holy Spirit to teach you all truths and things. Locate your altar of prayer to build your spiritual muscles, praying always and constantly meditating on the Word of God. Start tuning your ear to His still, small voice within you and be quick to obey. Honor Him and welcome His guidance into your everyday affairs. Keep seeking God’s face and diligently serve Him for He is always ready to baptize you with the fire required to make the world focus on you.
O LORD, make me sensitive to Your voice, teaching me all truths in Jesus’ Name.
