Proverbs 10:22(KJV)
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
From the above Scripture, the blessings of God are the gateway to a struggle-free life. One of the most potent forces of the earth is the force of the blessing. Its weight of it surpasses that of both financial power and interpersonal bonds. True blessings from the Lord have three attributes; they bring riches in all events, are devoid of sorrow, and are accompanied by contentment. Nothing is permitted to hurt the blessed, and they are never at the mercy of the hostile forces of life. The blessing can completely transform individuals, elevating them from insignificance to greatness and emptiness to fullness. God’s Blessings make us successful, for a blessed person experiences unstoppable success. When God is the source of our blessing, He backs it up, and the increase will stand the test of time. God gives power and opportunities to His children to get wealth to prove Himself faithful to His Word, which will surely come without sorrow. Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” God blesses the faithful who adhere to His teachings with abundance and prosperity.
As children of God, we can encounter the raw blessings of God directly from Him. The blessing will cause a person to inherit the earth. When the Blessing of God comes on an individual, it marks the expiry date of wretchedness in their life. For instance, his life changed when God blessed Jabez and granted him what he requested (1 Chronicles 4:9-10). The blessing breaks the spells of littleness off the lives of the blessed and positions them as generational resource controllers. God blessed Jacob and changed him from a person to a nation(Genesis 32:26-28). The Blessings of God always respond to our obedience to God’s instructions. However, disobedience and crookedness are disqualifiers for His blessings. Anything God cannot handle, forget it; no man can; sorrows and pains characterize it. Whatever blessing we think we can derive from substituting God’s Plan with an alternative will only be short-lived and come with sadness. Judas Iscariot became so miserable and empty that he never got to spend the money he had acquired wrongly. If he knew how he would feel after committing such a sin for money, he would have made a better choice. When Gehazi chased after Naaman to get something from him, he and his generation ended up with Naaman’s leprosy(2 Kings 5:20-27). Stop cutting corners, for God will prosper us in God’s own time and in God’s way.
Beloved, it is only the blessings of God that will make you rich without additional sorrow. When you are blessed, you are not permitted to be stranded; the blessing forbids stagnation. The blessing dismantles oppositions and obstacles to life’s progress and can cure curses, just as light ends darkness. Do not depend on your strength but only on God. To see God’s true blessings in your life, serve Him faithfully. Be active in Kingdom Service and never make the mistake of seeking the other things first but rather seek the Kingdom of God first. Do not be discouraged or deceived that you are wasting time studying the word, evangelizing, and living uprightly for God. Always create an atmosphere of worship wherever you find yourself. Your spirituality will provoke your prosperity. Your commitment and obedience to the word of God will enforce the manifestation of success and prosperity in your life. Remember, your dedication to God brings satisfaction in life. That is the only way you can acquire true blessings without any sorrow. Let God bless you, and all around you shall see it. I see you shift to the realm of abundance and greatness, in Jesus’ Name. The Blessings of God are His addition; they will never diminish in your life.
O Lord, separate me from all ungodly riches and poverty and grant me the grace to remain blessed in Jesus’ Name.
