The Blessing Of God

Genesis 12:2(KJV)

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

The Blessing of God is one of the most significant assets of man on earth. God is interested in blessing us so we can become channels of blessing to others. He gave Abraham one of the most beautiful promises ever when He called him to leave his country. God promised to make Abraham a great nation and to become a blessing to all on earth. Before Abraham received the blessing, he was irrelevant at his father’s house. His family had three serious setbacks, starting without finishing, living without importance and purpose, and premature death. That trinity of calamity existed in Abraham’s family until he met God. The blessing opened Abraham’s life and destiny when he encountered God, and his life changed forever. When God blessed him, he was exempted from every curse, distinguished, and made him the first to fulfill destiny. The blessing that came from God into the life of Abraham made a great nation out of him and made him known everywhere. God made him very wealthy in all areas. The blessing moved Abraham from being a victim of generational curses to becoming a channel of generational blessings. The Blessing God gave to Abraham made him a deposit and investment.

The ability to connect with God is one of the best things that can happen to anyone. Our connection to God makes us partakers of generational blessings. The Blessing of God has the capacity to locate us and open up our destiny. It is vital to know that the Blessing of God is a difference-maker. The blessing makes our case different. It catapults the blessed into abundance and greatness. There are different kinds of blessings, but to be unquestionably blessed comes from God alone, who God sits on the Throne to coordinate the affairs of His people. The outpouring of God’s Blessing upon our lives can move us from the point of daily provision and mere survival to the point in which we become the talk of nations. The Blessing empowers and compels the earth and the environment of the blessed to yield their best. Peter toiled all night and caught nothing, but he became the talk of the town when he experienced a net-breaking blessing. We are God’s just and righteous children, and the Bible says in Proverbs 4:18, “…the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” That is our story and progression in Christ. In this season, no matter the dry ground, God can raise greatness from little and turn little into a billion. Galatians 3:9 says, “So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” As children of God, we are blessed with faithful Abraham, so let’s behave like it.

Beloved, make demands on the Blessing of God upon your life. Serve God faithfully and put Him first in all your affairs, and He will bless you beyond measure. Make up your mind to be addicted to God always. Don’t allow anything to stand between you and the Maker of Heaven and Earth. Let the Word of God be your guide daily, and no devil can contest your blessing. Know that God is ever faithful, He is the fountain of all honor, and it is from Him that promotion comes. Live with the mentality that you are destined to be a generational Blessing, not a generational burden. What you are going through at the moment may not show that you are a candidate for this kind of blessing but know that the plan and purpose of God for your life are undeniable, and He knows the path to take you through to get there. The test of your faith and obedience is coming, but only obey God and be blessed. It is a new day for you; the Blessing of God is coming on you as you make yourself a blessing to others. Today, Ask God for an encounter that will bring you a blessing. The Blessing of God will locate you wherever you are in Jesus’ Name. Remember, it is the blessing of God that channels to you what is rightfully yours.

O Lord, thank You for Your Blessing upon my life. I reject the life of littleness and wretchedness. Make me a depot of Your resources in Jesus’ Name.
