Proverbs 10:22(KJV)
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
From the above Scripture, is clear the blessings of God is the gateway to a struggle-free life. True blessings from the Lord have three attributes; they bring riches in all event, they are devoid of sorrow and are accompanied with contentment. Nothing is permitted to hurt the blessed, they are never at the mercy of the negative forces of life. It is God’s Blessings that will make us successful, a blessed person experiences unstoppable success. When God is the source of our blessing, He backs it up, and the increase will stand the test of time. God gives power and opportunities to His children to get wealth to prove Himself faithful to His Word and it will surely come without sorrow(Deuteronomy 8:18).
As children of God, we can encounter the raw blessings of God directly from Him. The Blessing will definitely cause a person to inherit the earth. When the Blessing of God comes on an individual, it marks the expiry date of wretchedness in their life. For instance, when God blessed Jabez and granted him that which he requested, his life changed(1 Chronicles 4:9-10). The Blessing breaks the spells of littleness off the lives of the blessed and positions them as generational resource controllers. God blessed Jacob and changed him from a person to a nation(Genesis 32:26-28). However, the Blessings of God always respond to our obedience to God’s instructions, disobedience and crookedness are disqualifiers for His blessings. Anything God cannot handle, forget it; no man can, it is characterized by sorrows and pains. Whatever blessing we think we can derive from substituting God’s Plan with an alternative will only be short-lived and will definitely come with sorrow. Judas Iscariot became as miserable and empty that he never got to spend the money he had acquired wrongly. If he had been told how he would feel after committing such a sin for money, he would definitely have made a better choice. When Gehazi chased after Naaman to get something from him, he and his generation ended up with Naaman’s leprosy(2 Kings 5:20-27). Stop cutting corners. At God’s own time and in God’s own way, He will prosper us.
Beloved, it is only the blessings of God that makes rich without additional sorrow. Do not depend on your strength but only on God. To see the true blessings of God in your life, serve Him faithfully. Be active in Kingdom Service and never make the mistake of seeking the other things first but rather seek first the Kingdom of God. Do not be discouraged or deceived that you are wasting your time by studying the Word, evangelizing and living uprightly for God. Always create an atmosphere of worship wherever you find yourself. Your spirituality will provoke your prosperity. Your commitment and obedience to the word of God will enforces the manifestation of good success and prosperity in your life. Remember, your dedication to God brings satisfaction in life. That is the only way you can acquire true blessings without any sorrow. Let God bless you and all around you shall see it. I see you shift to the realm of abundance and greatness, in Jesus’ Name. The Blessings of God are His addition, they will never diminish in your life.
O Lord, separate me from all forms of ungodly riches and poverty and grant me the grace to remain blessed in Jesus’ Name.
