The Blessings Of Thanksgiving

Matthew 15:36-37(KJV)

And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

Thanksgiving is an attitude of appreciation and gratitude to God for all things. It is the master password to gaining entrance into God’s Gate and Court(Psalm 100:4). That is, thanksgiving and praise qualify us to carry Divine Presence, and that is all we need to have a triumphant ride in life. It is a vital secret to increase in life! There is a connection between thanksgiving and supernatural supplies. Thanksgiving as a lifestyle will establish us in a ceaseless flow of signs and wonders and a key to accessing supernatural supply. Thanksgiving connects us to the abundance of God’s resources. Jeremiah 30:19 says, “Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving. And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”

Thanksgiving always yields multiplication. It is a great mystery of supplies and abundance in the glory. In other words, for everything that must increase, we must gratefully acknowledge God. Anything we do not thank God for diminishes. Jesus knew this spiritual technique and used it several times during His earthly ministry. After commanding everyone to sit down, Jesus took the seven loaves and the fishes and gave thanks, and they multiplied. That shows how important it is to be tirelessly grateful to God. That is, as soon as He gave thanks, the food increased, such that seven baskets were leftover. No wonder it is written in Psalm 67:5-6 “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.” It is when we release our thanksgiving and praise to God that He commands the earth to yield her increase to us. He can give us more than enough! It is time for our bread to multiply, and it will take genuine thanksgiving because a grateful heart guarantees a fruitful life.

Beloved, giving thanks to God leads to appreciation and elevation of life and destiny. Make up your mind to always appreciate God for what you have and where you are. Giving thanks to God is what lifts you from lack and want to abundance. That is, thank Him for the little you have, and your elevation is guaranteed. Thank God in every situation you find yourself for He will always multiply your thanksgiving. You may have seen God’s goodness in the past, but you have not touched the surface of what God has in your future so, thank Him for all things. And as you thank Him, He will comfort you and make your wilderness like Eden and your deserts like His Garden full of joy and gladness. Today, focus on those things you have, not on things you don’t have, and immensely thank God with a sincere heart for it, and as you do, you will experience the miracle of a provision in Jesus’ Name! As you praise and thank the Lord for His goodness and mercy over your life, may you receive an irreversible blessing from Him in Jesus’ Name. Remember, no devil can place an embargo on your increase as long as you are ready to thank and praise God.

O LORD, thank You for Your Word, I thank You for all things and everything working for my good in Jesus’ Name.
