Zechariah 2:5(KJV)
For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
There is a protective hedge around every child of God. This protective hedge is what is referred to as the wall of fire. Our anchor Scripture clearly reveals God as a Wall of Fire around His children. Around every holy child of God, there is an unseen wall that satan cannot pass through because it is made of fire. When a life is not secured in Christ, that life ends up in disaster. Divine Protection is therefore key in every endeavor of life. When you have this wall of fire around you, no devil can harass you, every power from the covens of darkness will always bow to you.
The devil knows that he is going to end up in the lake of fire, therefore he is not very anxious to taste this fire yet, so when he sees anybody who is surrounded by this fire, he keeps his distance. The fire of the Almighty God is so hot that when it surrounds you, the fire of this world will make way for you to pass. We have a good example in Daniel 3:24-28, where Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were put in the fiery furnace, they could not be burnt because they were surrounded by a Higher Fire. Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den (Daniel 6:16-23) but he could not be eaten up by the lions because of who surrounded him. For as long as God created you to fulfill His agenda on the earth, you are too needed to be wasted. Psalm 125:2 says “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.” The Power of God shall compass you round about and be a Wall of Fire to terrify and destroy your enemies; for our God is a Consuming Fire(Hebrews 12:29). God is the sure and safe protection of His people; who went before the people of Israel in a pillar of a cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night and surrounded Elisha with horses and chariots of fire.
Beloved, who surrounds you determines what you can survive. Live with the mentality that you are too surrounded to be wasted. Talk it, behave it and live it. The evidence of Job’s protection should encourage us to remain true to our faith as children of God. Only a strong wall of fire can see you through life this year and beyond. The Wall of Fire around your life will terminate every sickness, orchestration of the enemy and affliction. In whatever you do, dwell in the secret place of the Almighty God and you will be preserved.
O Lord, remain the Consuming Fire in my life in Jesus’ Name!
