The Earth Shall Yield Her Increase

Psalm 67:5-6(KJV)

Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

From our anchor Scripture, we understand the profound connection between praise and supernatural blessings. Praise is not just a mere act but a powerful container of supernatural supplies. It empowers us to live a life of abundance. When we, as God’s people, lift our voices in praise, it glorifies God and invokes His favor and blessings. The earth yielding its increase symbolizes the abundance and prosperity that come from God’s favor. Praising God is not just a ritual but a powerful tool for multiplication. It releases the unction of multiplication on the supplies of the one who praises. Jesus saw five loaves and two fishes, gave thanks, and it multiplied (Luke 9:16). When thanksgiving and praise become our lifestyle, we enjoy bountiful provision in our lives—everything around the one who praises multiplies while everything around a murmurer depreciates. Therefore, to praise is to be fruitful, and to refuse to praise God is to be unfruitful and grounded. The imagery of the earth yielding its increase unequivocally reinforces the belief that God is the ultimate source of all provision.

Praising God for who He is, for what He is, and for what He has done and will do is not just a duty, but an essential part of our spiritual journey. Praise is a powerful tool that opens the floodgates for His blessings to pour into our lives. When we wholeheartedly focus on His greatness and express our gratitude, we align ourselves with His will and purpose, ushering in abundant blessings. Psalm 107:8-9 says, “Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.” Our praise should be a natural response to the goodness and blessings we receive from God. It’s a way to acknowledge His sovereignty and grace in our lives. When we praise Him, we acknowledge and give Him credit for His great deeds and help, thereby provoking His Blessings for our lives. Many benefits are attached when we decide to praise God from the depth of our hearts. Throughout the Scriptures, many connected the Blessing through praise. When we praise God, we ascend to the realms of the Heavenlies, where we can access everything that praise has to offer including our supernatural provision. Praise reveals and releases wherever and whatever is ours by putting the earth under pressure for its release. The earth cannot withhold the supplies of the one who praises God.

Beloved, no matter what challenges you may face, expressing gratitude and praise to God can positively impact you. When you release your praise to God, He commands the earth to yield her increase to you. Take time each day to praise God for His blessings in your life. Reflect on specific instances where you have seen His hand at work. Avoid the temptation of murmuring or complaining. Until you stop questioning God and start thanking and praising Him, you may never experience the God of supernatural supplies. As long as you are ready to praise, no devil can place an embargo on your increase. Take time to praise God for what He has done and for what He is going to do. Lift your voice in praise, trusting that God will abundantly bless you and those around you. Today, I want you to focus on those things you have, not on things you don’t have, and immensely thank God with a sincere heart for it. As you do, you will experience the miracle of the provision in Jesus’ Name! Let God be your God, and He will bless you with the abundance of all things. As you praise Him, every supply needed to make this season exciting shall be released in due season in Jesus’ Name! Put on now the garment of praise! Remember, when you honor Him, He ensures that your needs are met, often in abundant ways.

O Lord, I give you all the praise, let the earth yield her increase for my life in Jesus’ Name.
