Genesis 18:14(KJV)
Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed, I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
We serve the Almighty God that acts beyond the boundaries and limits of men. There is absolutely nothing too hard for Him. After waiting many years to have a child of their own, Abraham and Sarah had given up and were no longer optimistic about the promise of a child for them. But one fine day, the Lord and two angels visited Abraham when he was sitting outside his tent’s opening. When Abraham spotted them, he ran towards them and immediately bowed down before them. After bowing down, Abraham got water for them to wash their feet. He had Sarah, his wife, fix some bread, and he chose a tender young calf for his servant to kill and prepare for them to eat. After eating, the Lord said to Abraham, “according to the time of life, Sarah shall have a son.” Sarah could not help laughing when she heard that she would have a child in a year because she knew her age and the deadness of her womb. Her skepticism made the Lord ask, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” Absolutely not, for with God, all things are possible.
The truth is, we serve the God who dares the impossible and does the unthinkable. He performed the miracle of creating a highway in the Red Sea. The miracle of providing water from the rock for His children to drink for many years. It took just a shout to bring down the wall of Jericho and praise for the enemy to fight among themselves. Jeremiah 32:27 says, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” In this Scripture, God introduced Himself as the God of all flesh. As the God of all flesh, God is genuinely interested in whatever happens to us. It is evident that our God is not a limited God; He acts beyond the boundaries and limits of men. In other words, God can do, undo, overdo, extra-do, and mega-do anything beyond human comprehension; where man stops is where God starts. He has all the power and is able to do all things. He does not accommodate limiting words in His vocabulary. The God of all flesh delivered and brought out Daniel unhurt from the den of hungry lions. He is an Impossibility Specialist. The Angel of the Lord said to Mary in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” With God in our lives, all things are possible. The Bible says in Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” This confirms the fact that God can do marvelous things beyond our imagination in order to show His Almightiness.
Beloved, absolute surrender to God and His Will is the key, for all things are possible with our Almighty God. Know that there is a God, who works wonders among men on earth. Even though people may have given up on you, He is always there to demonstrate to them that they are not your creator. Rest in God and wait patiently on Him. Although He will act according to His Will, it will be in your favor and benefit. There is nothing that God cannot take care of. If it doesn’t exist, you don’t need it. When you come to the point where you totally give God the space to move, then He will move. Remove the lack of trust and unbelief from your operations with God.
