Isaiah 43:19(KJV)
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
The above Scripture makes it clear that we serve the God of a new beginning. One of the attributes of God is that He is the God of new beginning and it is His Nature to turn things around at the beginning of every new season. Throughout the Bible it has been confirmed that God proves Himself at the beginning of new phases and seasons of life. How marvelous it is to begin the new month, quarter and second half of the year with this promise from our Father, Creator of Heaven and earth, the Sustainer and Redeemer of all things. It is written in Revelation 22:13 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Indeed, our God is a God of new beginning who gives everyone a fresh beginning in order to grow in life. Whenever we are confronted with a new beginning such as today, there are certain things we must do in order to live profitably. There is a need as Christians to appreciate God for His Goodness and Mercies for where we are coming from and where He is taking us.
It is amazing to know that the Lord can go as far as creating new things or positions in order to make a way that takes us to our place of desire. He created a new position for Joseph by allowing Pharaoh to have a dream. And as Joseph interpreted that dream, his destiny changed from being a prisoner to a Prime Minister. There is no limitation to the new things He can create just to make a way for us. In the Book of Job, God manifested Himself to Job as the God of new beginnings. The devil wrecked his life and made him lose everything he had including his wealth, health, children, etc. However, when the God of new beginning showed up in his life, there was a fresh beginning and restoration of everything he lost in double folds. There is going to be a new time of forgiveness, blessing, restoration, increase and God’s Abiding Presence if we can put the past behind us and focus on the present and God’s ability to make the future better. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Live in hope and in confident expectation that somehow it will turn out right.
Beloved, I welcome you to the first day of this new month of July, the beginning of the third quarter and second half of the year. I want to let you know that the original purpose and promises of God for your life for this half of the year shall fully come to pass, the work of the devil and his agents notwithstanding. People might have concluded that you have failed in life but I want to let you know that there is a God who is about to give you a fresh start. No matter the conspiracy of hell against your life, you shall end well and blessed in Jesus’ Name. God is ready to give you a whole new beginning. His plan for your life is not for you to reach one level, get stuck and stay there for 30 or 40 years. His plan is to increase you, open new doors before you, and take you places that you’ve never imagined. He has something big in your future! He’s already planned out big breaks, big opportunities and big ideas for you. You may have seen God’s goodness in the past, but you have not touched the surface of what God has in your future! God is about to do a new thing. The new thing is going to be far greater than you’ve ever seen before and bigger than you imagined. It’s going to be more rewarding than you thought possible and cause your life to blossom and flourish. Today, thank God for all things and evaluate the progress you have made in life so far and set proper goals. In this new month, quarter and second half of the year, the One who brought forth water from the rock will bring forth the good desires of your heart in Jesus’ Name. Remember, your future is as bright as the promises of God.
O LORD, I appreciate You for a new beginning, help me to understand Your purpose for my life in this second half of the year in Jesus’ Name.
